Site médiéval de Brancion

At the top of a hill stands Brancion, a little village where time seems to have stood still. Renovated by a group of enthusiasts, the village has regained its medieval character. Visit the church of Saint-Pierre with its murals and modern stained-glass windows and the castle built between the 11th and 12th centuries by the Dukes of Brancion followed by the Dukes of Burgundy.

From the top of the keep 23m high, there are views of the whole valley. Reenactments in period costume are held every year as well as music festivals.
