Public parking lot opposite the gîte. Thiré is a pretty village in southern Vendée. Supermarket with regional produce every Friday morning, bakeries 5 km away. Les Jardins de William Christie baroque music festival every year at the end of August. Bar, restaurant, swimming pool 5 km away, tennis court in the village, ocean 30 km away, forest 25 km away, Venise Verte 25 km away with many activities for children. Les Sables d'Olonne, the islands of Ré, Noirmoutier, Aix and Oléron are accessible during the day.
