Un p'tit coin de paradis dans un p'tit coin de Normandie... you could paraphrase the song, because that's really what inspires this gîte and its lovely garden, in a superb setting overlooking the small town and the valley. The magic of the place already lies in its history: we're on the edge of the Chemin de Ronde, on the ancient ramparts of Nonancourt, next to a tower that's almost a thousand years old, at the gateway to Normandy. Nicole and Robert have transformed this former barn into a charming, welcoming vacation home with your well-being in mind. They have preserved all its authenticity, enhanced by a decor that blends the contemporary with the old, with great taste and attention to detail. The garden is a real little cocoon, enclosed by walls and open onto the magnificent view: a lounge and deckchairs are there for you to enjoy. When the weather's fine, the pool area, also enclosed by walls, is just next door, with an outdoor shower for relaxing and playing.

Entrance to bright living room with fully-equipped kitchen (multi-function steam oven), dining area and lounge. There's also an independent toilet and a linen room. A spiral staircase leads upstairs to 2 bedrooms with double (160x200) or twin (2 beds 90x200) beds, a study, a bathroom with walk-in shower and separate wc. On the ground floor, the bay window gives access to the superb south-facing terrace where garden furniture and deckchairs await you. Below, the walled garden (approx. 150 m²) is just for you. Next door, the swimming pool area shared with the owners (8x5m above-ground, heated, accessible from mid-May to mid-October). No need for a car, everything's within easy reach: shops, restaurants, train station... For cooks or your evening tea, Nicole has prepared a corner with the aromatic herbs she knows so well.
