45 Minuten von Versailles entfernt, ein kleines Stück Paradies in einer kleinen Ecke der Normandie ... man könnte das Lied paraphrasieren, denn genau das ist es, was dieses Ferienhaus mit seinem entzückenden Garten in einer wunderschönen Umgebung mit Blick auf die kleine Stadt und das Tal ausstrahlt. Die Magie des Ortes liegt bereits in seiner Geschichte: Wir befinden uns am Rande des Wehrgangs, auf den alten Stadtmauern von Nonancourt neben einem mehr als tausend Jahre alten Turm, am Tor zur Normandie. Nicole und Robert haben diese alte Scheune in ein charmantes, gemütliches Ferienhaus umgewandelt, das ganz auf Ihr Wohlbefinden ausgerichtet ist. Sie haben die Authentizität des Hauses bewahrt, die durch eine geschmackvolle Dekoration mit viel Liebe zum Detail hervorgehoben wird. Der Garten ist wie ein kleiner Kokon, von Mauern umgeben und offen für die herrliche Aussicht: Sitzgruppe und Liegestühle laden zum Genießen ein. An schönen Tagen lädt das ummauerte Schwimmbad mit Außendusche zum Entspannen und Spielen ein.
Eingang zum hellen Wohnraum, der eine ausgestattete Küche (Multifunktionsofen zum Dampfgaren), einen Essbereich und ein Wohnzimmer vereint. Hier finden Sie auch eine separate Toilette und eine Wäschekammer. Eine Wendeltreppe führt Sie in den ersten Stock: 2 Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett (160x200) oder Twin (2 Betten 90x200), Schreibtisch, Badezimmer mit begehbarer Dusche und separates WC. Im Erdgeschoss haben Sie durch die Fensterfront Zugang zur wunderschönen Südterrasse, auf der Gartenmöbel und Liegestühle auf Sie warten. Unterhalb des Hauses befindet sich der ummauerte Garten (ca. 150 m²), der ganz für Sie allein ist. Gleich daneben befindet sich das Schwimmbad, das Sie gemeinsam mit den Besitzern nutzen (8x5m, beheizt, zugänglich von Mitte Mai bis 30. September). Hier brauchen Sie kein Auto, alles ist in Reichweite: Geschäfte, Restaurants, Bahnhof. Zum Kochen oder für einen Abendtee hat Nicole eine Ecke mit den notwendigen aromatischen Kräutern vorbereitet, die sie so gut kennt. Für kleine Kinder Regenschirmbett, Hochstuhl, Laufstall. Steve and Angie A lovely stay
We had a lovely stay in a small but comfortable gite. The main living space is pleasant although the soft seating might be a little tight for four people. The bedrooms were excellent and very comfortable and the shower and toilets perfect. The outside space was fantastic with table tennis and good sized pool. Nonancourt itself did not have quite as much to offer in terms of cafes etc as we had hoped although its history was interesting.
We would have liked some written instructions about equipment and practical arrangements as our French is not very good and we struggled with a couple of things. Nicole and Robert were delightful but occasionally we might have avoided minor issues had there been an instruction sheet. Overall though we loved it!- Sauberkeit

Du fait que nous accueillons des visiteurs qui arrivent tardivement après un long voyage, nous avons pris l'habitude de ne pas faire le soir même l'état des lieux afin de vous laisser le temps de vous installer tout en restant à votre disposition pour toutes demandes. C'est une erreur de notre part car, vous locataires, vous pouvez vouloir éviter de nous déranger. Le système d'informations par QR code existe au Gite de France permettant d'avoir accès à tous types d'informations sur le gite et l'environnement. Vous nous rendez un grand service par cette précision. C'est un rappel utile pour le confort des vacanciers. Nous avons été très heureux de vous rencontrer car chaque séjour ouvre des champs d'expériences et de connaissances de nos chers locataires. Merci de votre précieux avis. Belle continuation à vous.

Because we welcome visitors who arrive late after a long trip, we have gotten into the habit of not doing the inventory of fixtures the same evening in order to give you time to settle in while remaining at your disposal for any requests. This is a mistake on our part because you, the tenants, may want to avoid disturbing us. The QR code information system exists at the Gite de France allowing access to all types of information on the gite and the environment. You are doing us a great service by this precision. Le gite a ete parfaitement aménagé pour que toutes les tâches du quotidien soient facilitées. J'ai aimé la lumière qui baigne la pièce de vie, et la taille de tous les espaces qui crée un vrai confort.
Le jardin est très agréable avec une superbe vue. Piscine et jeux viennent occuper les après-midi sans qu'on ait envie de sortir tant on est bien sur place. Et les hôtes sont très sympathiques et aidants.- Sauberkeit

Meike Parfait!
Le gîte est comme sur les photos et on a beaucoup de privacy. Dans les environs il y a beaucoup à faire. Pendant l'été les chambres à coucher sont fraîches. Les propriétaires nous avaient invité pour un apéro et ils nous ont fait visiter la tour à côté.

Al & Julie Vacances exceptionnelles
Nous tenons à remercier Nicole et Robert pour leur hospitalité lors de notre séjour, ils sont vraiment des plus accueillants. Le gîte était le meilleur dans lequel nous ayons séjourné – d'excellentes installations et un joli jardin avec de superbes vues sur la ville et la campagne. Voir les étoiles et la tour la nuit était exceptionnel. Nous avons tellement apprécié notre séjour que nous avons réservé à nouveau pour l'année prochaine.

We are very happy with this good news and it is with joy that we will welcome you back We very much enjoyed this meeting with a little corner of England and Scotland. We too will have to improve our English, we promise. I think that sometimes our dialogue had to be funny about the construction of sentences. But we managed to talk a lot, which denotes that intention facilitates communication. You were lucky enough to have a sunny stay and for a week, cold and rain. The tower is still as beautiful at night, but Robert no longer plays nudist!

Bond Relaxed and comfortable
The hosts were very welcoming and the gite was spotlessly clean. We made full use of the garden, pool and bbq as it was such a hot week.
Nicole was very helpful when we came home during a thunderstorm and provided extra towels to mop up the rain which had come in through the windows we'd left open!
The town is very pretty with restaurants, boulangeries and supermarket within walking distance. We had a designated parking space a few meters along the road from the gite.
With great views over the town, comfortable beds and lovely terrace and garden, we would recommend you stay here.- Sauberkeit
