This haven of peace consists of 12 lakes including the Grand Etang de Lindre, a wetland of global importance. Many species of plant and animal life can be seen on walks and from observatories.
Domaine de Lindre – lakes teeming with wildlife
The aim of the Domaine is to preserve the area and also make the public aware of the environment. The Pavillon des Expositions with its exhibition on life within the lakes, the dam on the Etang de Lindre, a discovery trail and various observatories bring visitors close to the heart of this amazingly rich habitat. The tea room and shop are open between March and November.
