At the gateway to St-Malo, on the banks of the Rance, Ellen welcomes you to La Chaumière de la Chaize, set in a green setting with a garden offering all the comforts you need for a peaceful vacation. Close to the residences of 'ces messieurs de St-Malo', you can stroll along the 'chemins de ronde'.
You'll appreciate the copious and varied breakfasts (homemade pastries, jam, etc.) served in the dining room, or on the terrace overlooking the garden.

First floor:
Bedroom "Un Air de Campagne", with 1 bed 140x190 and 1 bed 90x190, private bathroom and toilet (crib available on request).
Coté sable" bedroom with 180x200cm bed and BZ sofa for two children.
Independent access for "La Petite Chaumière" bedroom:
Small studio comprising on the first floor a 25m² living room with a fully-equipped kitchen (oven, hob, microwave, fridge) and lounge area, plus a shower room with a spacious walk-in shower. Upstairs, a large 18m² bedroom with king-size bed and sofa bed can accommodate 1 or 2 people. A toilet is adjacent to this room. A private terrace completes this guest room, allowing you to make the most of the countryside just a stone's throw from Saint Malo.

Anciens maraichers, Françoise et Michel ont toujours eu le goût de l'accueil. C'est ainsi qu'ils ont rénové un ancien pressoir à pommes dans les années 90 pour le transformer en gîte rural. Soucieux de préserver le patrimoine familial et mettre en valeur les anciens bâtiments, la chaumière, deviendra par la suite des chambres d'hôtes.
Parce qu'il s'agit d'une histoire de famille, l'activité est reprise en 2022 par leur fille Ellen qui, depuis plus de 10 ans, a travaillé en hôtellerie-restauration.
