Fully renovated, detached two-storey house in lovely Saône Valley countryside with its many shades of blue and green. Ground floor: fitted kitchen opening onto dining room (wood pellet stove), lounge, shower room, separate WC. 1st floor: 3 bedrooms (queen-size bed) (single bed, 2 single beds OR king-size bed) (2 single beds), large shower room/WC. Cot available. Partly fenced wooded garden (400 sq.m.). Parking. Electric heating (charge based on meter reading), wood pellets for the stove (extra charge). Household linen hire possible. Cleaning at end of stay possible (extra charge). Basic English spoken. Nearby: Chour lake (beach, water-based activities). Seurre (shops, Hotel-Dieu, historical trail through town). River Saône and its rural scenery, ideal for fishing, walks, family picnics, relaxation. 'Voie Bleue', secure waymarked cycle track running for 17km alongside meandering river Saône. Saint-Jean-de-Losne (largest inland waterway port in France, boat hire, restaurants). Cîteaux abbey, cradle of the Cistercian order, well known locally for its excellent cheese made by monks. 30 minutes from famous Burgundian vineyards of Nuits-St-Georges, Beaune (Hospices classed as UNESCO World Heritage site), Meursault ... 45 minutes from Dijon (capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, city of artistic and Historical interest, centre for gastronomy). Just a few kilometres from the Jura.

5/5Très bon accueil de Madame MICHAUD lors de notre arrivée. Gite propre, bien équipé et fonctionnel.Jolies visites dans la région (Beaune, Dôle, Dijon, Saint Jean de Losne, Seurre,...) sans trop de temps sur la route du fait du la bonne situation géographique du gîte. Une première découverte de la Bourgogne que nous avons appréciée. Mr et Mme AGEZ
