Spacious and well-appointed gite

We were three generations of the same family visiting in July and this gite offered something for everyone. The children (and adults!) were well catered for with a generously sized swimming pool, sun terrace and hot tub, plus table tennis, a football machine and an electronic dart board. The layout is quirky with three separate staircases which are used to access various bedrooms, but the house is large and has many bedrooms equipped with comfortable beds. Best of all, some of the bedrooms are air-conditioned, ensuring excellent sleeping conditions in hot weather. The gite is located in its own grounds off a backstreet in the village with private parking for several cars, and is very quiet at night. The kitchen and dining areas are large and well equipped with adequate refrigeration and a large gas range/electric oven. The owners were very welcoming and live in an adjacent building, but did not disturb us at all. We had a fabulous restful week. The village has a large Intermarche supermarket, two bakers, cafes, a pizza joint and some other shops, plus a leisure lake. Everything you need for family life right on the doorstep, and just 20 minutes from La Rochelle or Rochfort, so it is very well located. All in all, highly recommended for big families.

Gîte parfait pour un séminaire réussi

Nous avons séjourné dans ce gîte lors de notre séminaire d’entreprise, et tout était parfait ! Le cadre est magnifique, le confort au rendez-vous, et les équipements adaptés à un séjour professionnel ou en groupe. Toute l’équipe a été ravie de l’accueil chaleureux et de la qualité des prestations.

Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter ! Seule suggestion pour encore améliorer l’expérience : ajouter un câble HDMI plus long et quelques prises murales supplémentaires dans la grande pièce.

Encore un grand merci, et au plaisir de revenir !

Séjour du 28/12/24 au 4/1/25

Propriétaires accueillants, à l'écoute, disponibles et réactifs. Nous avons passé une semaine dans un cadre agréable.
A noter une literie de qualité.
Deux petites critiques déjà prises en compte par le propriétaire : le réfrigérateur sous-dimensionné pour un groupe (nous étions 14)et l'éclairage de la salle à manger à améliorer.

Week-end à la Rochelle

Très bon gite. Très bien décoré, spacieux, confortable.
L'accueil par les propriétaires est très agréable.
On recommande ce gite sans hésiter.

Outstanding Accomodation- Highly Recommend

The photos on the website do not give this house justice. It's absolutely beautiful. The pool and spa are in great condition. The internal amenities such as kitchen are stocked with everything you need to self cater.

The bedrooms are thoughtfully laid out with the ability to host multiple groups in the one building without being on top of one another. Not to mention the beautiful decor.

Tucked away in Aigrefeuille d'Aunis in a quiet street surrounded by welcoming neighbours and walking distance to a big supermarket, delicious bakeries and multiple shops. It's such a convenient location for those wishing to enjoy the region.

The owner of this property is by far the most considerate and welcoming owner I have encountered in the many Gites I've rented across France. She was responsive, friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome.
