Grace Warm welcome
The owners went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The place is extremely spacious with everything one could want in the kitchen. This would be a wonderful base for a family vacation. Comfortable beds and nice hot showers. Super cool farm products automat close by where we got everything necessary for a great dinner.

Dutch Courage Lovely stay on our Via Francigena walk
Very friendly host who welcomed us with a cool beer, which was all we needed after our walk. Decent room with good bed and shower; other facilities (kitchen, dining room, tv.) were shared. Some things to keep in mind: the village only has a vending machine for groceries and another machine for pizza's. The host does sell some food items as well, but you will still have to improvise a bit for dinner. If you were really looking forward to the pool... It's smaller than you'd think from the picture (what's new?) and wasn't filled yet - maybe not so strange for early June :)

We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay during your walk along the Via Francigena and that the warm welcome from your host, as well as the comfort of your room, helped you recover after a day on the trail. A cold beer after a long walk certainly sounds well deserved!
We also appreciate your useful comments regarding the services available in the village and the swimming pool. Early June can indeed be a little early for outdoor pool season, depending on weather conditions.
