¡Magnífico! Su soberbia fachada, toda piedra y sobriedad, ya la ha convertido en la envidia de muchos, como una pequeña casa solariega, como la que colinda en esta propiedad, que tiene una verdadera historia que contar. Y, sin embargo, nada más cruzar el umbral, es cuando uno se queda verdaderamente extasiado, deslumbrado por el derroche de delicadeza, gusto y sutileza, que revelan todo el esmero que se ha puesto en la decoración interior y el mobiliario. De la cocina a la sala de estar, de las habitaciones a los cuartos de baño, la luz y el color, la calidad de los materiales y del mobiliario, el ambiente cálido, la sutil mezcla de estilos moderno y antiguo, todo se combina para hacer del interior de esta Casas rurales un paraíso de éxito y buen gusto. Un lugar único del que no podrá marcharse sin querer volver. La proximidad del castillo de Villandry, el renombre de la posada del lugar y la tranquilidad del entorno son algunas de las bazas de este ineludible destino de vacaciones en Touraine.
Situada en una granja con carácter (una casa solariega del siglo XVII), esta Casas rurales es un lugar único para alojarse. La decoración, el mobiliario y la magnífica restauración la hacen incomparable. Planta baja: salón, cocina, baño/ducha, wc. Primera planta: 2 habitaciones, 1 con terraza panorámica, baño spa y wc (cada una con cama de 160 cm), 3ª habitación en altillo (3 camas individuales). Conexión WIFI disponible. Calefacción central. Jardín cerrado (columpio y cama elástica). Piscina y Restaurante de renombre: l'Etape Gourmande. Casa rural con todo incluido (excepto tasa turística): calefacción, electricidad, leña, sábanas (camas hechas), ropa de cama, limpieza de final de estancia.

Claughton A perfect place in the heart of the Loire valley
The house is in a beautiful courtyard, 10 minutes' walk from the chateau and village of Villandry. It's 15 minutes walk to walks along the Indre, 15 minutes drive to Azay le Rideau, 25 minutes to Tours, 45 minutes along the Loire to Saumur. i.e. it's in a perfect location.
There's a duck pond - with ducks - and a donkey to be seen from the kitchen window. There's an enclosed garden, too, ideal for a dog. The 17th century house has been beautifully restored with high levels of comfort but also original features and furniture. The kitchen has everything - as well as the view, the living area has a big, effective fire and a good space for dining. The bathrooms were modern, too, and there was always hot water. So, it was a perfect place for six of us to stay and it had everything we wanted. The owner, who lives in the house next door could not have been more friendly or welcoming: we were there at Christmas and she had put up a tree and decorations.

Demeure magnifiquement restaurée, lieu calme et impeccable. Notre chienne a aussi aimé notre séjour.
Béatrice est aux petits oignons pour ses hôtes, qu'ils soient humains ou toutous!
Très bien situé en plus pour faire les châteaux avec grand parking et grand jardin clôturé.
Nous avons déjà prévu de revenir !

TallBird Excellent accommodation
We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed ourselves. The owner was incredibly welcoming and spoke brilliant English. The house was beautiful and well equipped. The children loved all the animals, especially the donkey and the very friendly cat. The location was perfect for exploring that area of the Loire valley, with lots to do for all the family. The only reason for not giving it 5/5 was that there was an issue with the water/drains which had a minor impact on our otherwise perfect stay. The owners worked hard to resolve the issue and offered to pay for the bottled water that we used.
The restaurant on site was very good and the staff incredibly welcoming. I was worried that it might impact our stay but we never had any issues with noise or people.
We would definitely consider returning to this gite.- Limpieza
