Chalet Le Chêne

Parfait

On ne peut mettre que 5 étoiles. Tout était parfait. Le chalet est magnifique, il est bien équipé et aménagé avec goût. Le cadre est superbe. C’est un plaisir de se lever avec ce paysage, de manger que ce soit dans la salle à manger ou sur la terrasse avec cette vue magnifique qui invite à la détente et la déconnexion.
L’hôte est attentif à ses voyageurs. Il a préparé un livret d’accueil et donne des conseils sur les activités, visites, restaurants aux alentours. Le gîte est à la fois bien placé pour aller au lac d’Annecy et pour aller découvrir les villages, cols, stations.
Pour conclure, le seul problème c’est que nous n’avions pas envie d’en partir…

l'excellence en pleine nature

Comme le démontre mes notes , tout était parfait , rien à dire , le calme , la vue , la propreté et le confort , y a rien à dire . Seul un petit plus aurait été génial .J'en ai parlé au propriétaire , c'est de mettre un Jacuzzi sous la fenêtre de la cuisine face à la montagne ? Après une bonne journée de marche et de visite , un petit jacuzzi 1h le soir serait TOPISSIME ?!

Stunning chalet getaway for our family

I highly recommend a week in this beautiful chalet.

It is not a long drive from Geneva airport and once you arrive you are a short drive to lake Annecy in one direction, or mountain hikes and panoramic views in the other. I came with my husband, our baby and my husband's older parents - we all enjoyed the chalet holiday so much. I highly recommend a quick visit to Le Pêcheur restaurant (at Veyrier du Lac) halfway from the airport.

Host, Gilles, 10/10. So so friendly and helpful. Gilles was there for support as he stays close by along with his dad, Michel (sp?), who is also very kind (delicious garden salad gifts!). There was a fantastic folder of useful info to inspire us eg visiting the local amazing swimming pool at La Clozus (baby and wheelchair friendly!).
The WiFi works very well and you could work remotely from this chalet.

There are two double bed bedrooms and two rooms with three single beds each. There are also other futons you could use as you like. There is a spacious downstairs living area but also a spacious dining and living area on the upper of the two levels. Plenty of space to spread your things out!

We loved the views across the valley from the living room and the balcony. The real life version is even nicer than the advert. We had some very scenic dinners! There is a field behind the chalet with some sheep, which we found very cute - it felt even more like the country to see them and hear the faint tinkle from their bells.

Parking was easy and spacious. A slight negative is there is no path on the mountain roads, so for a baby pram, you really need to drive or at the very least, use a harness to keep baby close.

What else can I say? I recommend staying here and not next to the lake or in Annecy itself- much more serene here and you have the mountain views to wake up to. We are very keen to come back again!

Wonderful Gite

We spent the most wonderful week in this gite. The views are spectacular and every evening we sat enjoying a meal on the balcony. It is very well equipped, very clean and spacious and has everything you need. It's location is very convenient - not far from the local town, but far enough away to be rural. The owner is kind and attentive but also leaves you to enjoy your holiday. His father was also kind enough to give us some homegrown radishes. We really loved it.

Super semaine ! Gilles est super sympas disponible et a l’écoute! Je recommande les yeux fermé ce gîte !
Literie au top, il ne manquait rien dans ce gîte !

Vacances en famille

Superbe chalet très bien équipé, rien ne manque on se croirait à la maison.
Venue en famille 6 adultes et 3 enfants ,chacun avait son espace.
Très spacieux, très propre et très bien chauffé. Endroit très calme et décors à couper le souffle pour des personnes qui n'ont pas l'habitude de la montagne.
Aucun problème non plus pour stationner.
Je recommande a 100% .
