Ideally located just 700m from the shops, away from the hustle and bustle of the village, this small new house, attached to the owners' home, is perfect for visiting the Comtat Venaissin region.
The Piscine is heated from 15 to 30/05 and from 15 to 30/09 and is shared with the owners, 7x3m, 1.50 deep (from all sides), open from 15 May to 30 September until 8pm, protected by a tarpaulin with bars.it is strictly forbidden to wear sunscreen when using the pool, otherwise 70 euros will be charged for the intervention of the swimming pool attendant thank you in advance.
The living room opens directly onto the tiled terrace with private gravelled arbour, garden furniture and barbecue. It comprises a sitting area with sofa bed (140x190 cm) for 1 or 2 extra people, air-conditioning, table and 4 chairs, flat-screen TV, wifi and a fully-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, hob, extractor fan, fridge, freezer, small appliances and washing machine.
4 steps lead down to the hallway leading to the rest of the house.
The bedroom has a 160x200 cm bed and a dressing room. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and separate toilet.
3km away is Lake du Paty, popular with walkers, where swimming is permitted but not supervised.
An electric vehicle charging station is 700m away.
Bed linen and towels are included, housekeeping extra.
Avignon Festival approx. 30 km away. Mont Ventoux 27 km away.
It is strictly forbidden to bring bicycles into the Holiday cottage - a covered shelter is available.

Dalesman An excellent Gite
A spacious self-contained gite attached to the owner's property, recently finished to a high standard and well equipped yet reasonably priced. A very secure compound, shared with the owners, provides off-road parking and storage of bikes if needed. A small, spotlessly clean and heated swimming pool is available. A chilled bottle of wine was waiting in the fridge and the key fob for the gite gives a 10% discount on wine at the local caves. Out of all of the properties we rented on this trip, Le Plagnol had the latest check-in time (5pm) and the earliest check-out time (9am). Wifi is provided by an extender from the main house and we found it to be hit and miss all week. The owner is friendly, likes to chat, and would come over to check that all was well each evening, though sometimes whilst we were eating. On the last afternoon, he asked if we would be cleaning the gite or would prefer to pay a lady from the village. Although we always leave any property clean and tidy, it later transpired that this would be a thorough clean including mopping floors, which resulted in a early start so as to finish and leave before 9am. With hindsight, it would have been better to pay the additional cleaning charge. Caromb is a pleasant village, which we know quite well having visited before, and we enjoyed our stay at Le Plagnol.
