Mountain immersion in a magical setting that will delight nature lovers. Alpine chalet comprising two gîtes (n°4186 and 4187) and the owner's apartment located opposite Lac St Grat in the Gordolasque Valley at an altitude of 1600 m in the commune of Belvédère, in the heart of the Mercantour National Park. This high-mountain environment is home to a rich diversity of endemic flora and fauna visible to hikers.
From the Pont du Countet (3km at the bottom of the valley), numerous hiking trails lead to the famous Vallée des Merveilles, the GR52, high-altitude lakes and summits... You can also discover the heritage of the surrounding Vésubie villages, sample local produce or relax at Berthemont-les-bains (20 km), the only spa on the Côte d'Azur.
Holiday cottage 'Balarino', on the second floor via an internal staircase (shared entrance with the owner).

Access to the Chalet via a 1.3 km mountain trail. Please note that snow equipment is strongly recommended in winter, as the access track is NOT cleared of snow - allow 20 minutes' walk!

Le Chalet est confortable, fidèle à sa description. Pour ceux qui cherche comme moi l'isolement en pleine nature, c'est l'idéal. La vallée de la Gordolasque est un site exceptionnel préservé.

Logement calme et reposant, Bertrand sait se rendre disponible même s'il n'est pas toujours sur place.
Loin de tout mais proche à la fois de beaucoup de centres d'intérêts (visites, randonnées etc).
Nous avons passé un super séjour.

Olivier Séjour au Lac de Saint-Grat
Nous avons loué ce gîte en couple, et nous avons été sous le charme.
Les alentours sont magnifiquement calme, en pleine nature.
Un petit coin de paradis.Le chalet est parfaitement équipé, rien a dire.
Le propriétaire est accueillant, non invasif et à l'écoute, merci encore.
