Le Balarino

Mountain immersion in a magical setting that will delight nature lovers. Alpine chalet comprising two gîtes (n°4186 and 4187) and the owner's apartment located opposite Lac St Grat in the Gordolasque Valley at an altitude of 1600 m in the commune of Belvédère, in the heart of the Mercantour National Park. This high-mountain environment is home to a rich diversity of endemic flora and fauna visible to hikers.
From the Pont du Countet (3km at the bottom of the valley), numerous hiking trails lead to the famous Vallée des Merveilles, the GR52, high-altitude lakes and summits... You can also discover the heritage of the surrounding Vésubie villages, sample local produce or relax at Berthemont-les-bains (20 km), the only spa on the Côte d'Azur.

Access to the Chalet via a 1.3 km mountain trail. Please note that snow equipment is strongly recommended in winter, as the access track is NOT cleared of snow - allow 20 minutes' walk!
