Mountain immersion in a magical setting that will delight nature lovers. Alpine chalet comprising two gîtes (n°4186 and 4187) and the owner's apartment located opposite Lac St Grat in the Gordolasque Valley at an altitude of 1600 m in the commune of Belvédère, in the heart of the Mercantour National Park. This high-mountain environment is home to a rich diversity of endemic flora and fauna visible to hikers.
From the Pont du Countet (3km at the bottom of the valley), numerous hiking trails lead to the famous Vallée des Merveilles, the GR52, high-altitude lakes and summits... You can also discover the heritage of the surrounding Vésubie villages, sample local produce or relax at Berthemont-les-bains (20 km), the only spa on the Côte d'Azur.
Holiday cottage 'Balarino', on the second floor via an internal staircase (shared entrance with the owner).

Access to the Chalet via a 1.3 km mountain trail. Please note that snow equipment is strongly recommended in winter, as the access track is NOT cleared of snow - allow 20 minutes' walk!

Agrevy Superbe gite
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d'une semaine au Balarino en famille avec notre fille de un an. Les environs étaient enneigés et les paysages alentours magnifiques. Le logement est très fonctionnel, chaleureux et confortable, parfaitement isolé. L'hôte nous a attendu et accueilli à notre arrivée et nous a aidé à apporter nos affaires au chalet, cela nous a bien rendu service.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour explorer cette vallée unique qui doit être aussi belle en été qu'en hiver. Nous recommandons vivement !- Cleanliness

Amandine Un séjour parfait en famille
Nous avons passé un week-end absolument merveilleux en famille, mon mari, notre fille et moi, dans ce chalet d’exception. Ce fut une parenthèse hors du temps, une expérience insolite en pleine nature enneigée, ressourçante et magique.
Le chalet est tout simplement magnifique : incroyablement chaleureux, parfaitement équipé et d’une propreté irréprochable. On s’y sent immédiatement bien, comme dans un cocon au cœur de la montagne. La literie est d’une excellente qualité, nous avons dormi comme des bébés — un vrai plus qui contribue pleinement au repos et au ressourcement.
Un immense merci à Bertrand, le propriétaire, qui est une personne extraordinaire, d’une grande gentillesse. Il a su nous conseiller avec attention sur les balades à faire aux alentours du chalet, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable.
Bravo à lui pour avoir créé un lieu aussi accueillant et apaisant. Nous aurions presque envie de garder cet endroit secret tant il est précieux…
Merci encore Bertrand pour ce moment suspendu et ressourçant.
