This communal Holiday cottage is a characterful stone village house on 2 levels, located at the highest point of the medieval village of Lucéram, adjacent to the cemetery and the church of Sainte-Marguerite. A pretty terrace with furniture welcomes you for meals, with an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains.
Lucéram is a pedestrian village just 40 minutes from Nice and the coast. Many of the remains of the medieval castle can be seen as you make your way up the village's cool, narrow streets. Also worth a visit are the Museum of Old Tools and Local History, and the Crib Museum, unique in the region.
In December, many holidaymakers and visitors flock to the village streets to discover the various cribs on display, from the smallest to the most imposing. At Christmas, the midnight mass is not to be missed, with a living crib reflecting all the traditions of the village of yesteryear.

Le gîte est très agréable dans un superbe village où règnent le calme et la bonne humeur. Les villageois sont très accueillants. L’accès au gîte est un peu sportif avec les bagages car il faut parcourir le village avec ses ruelles pavées. Le clocher de l’église, magnifique, se dresse au dessus du gîte et sonne toutes les heures, comme dans beaucoup de villages. Tout cela n’enlève en rien au très agréable séjour que nous avons passé, et qui nous a permis de naviguer entre mer et montagne.

HMH Wunderbarer Urlaub in einzigartiger Umgebung
Luceram ist ein historisches Berdorf umgeben von der Natur der Voralpen. In Luceram gib es einen Bäcker, einen Metzger mit Gastronomie sowie kleinere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Alles, was man braucht, ist vor Ort vorhanden. Die Bewohner sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Von Luceram kommt man mit dem Auto gut Richtung Süden, z.B. ans Mittelmeer. Richtung Norden, in die Berge, wird es einsamer und ist eher geeignet für Leute, die gerne Serpentinen fahren, mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto.
Die Unterkunft ist am oberen hinteren Teil des Dorfes, neben der Kirche, sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet. An das Läuten der Kirchglocken gewöhnt man sich sehr schnell. Die Unterkunft ist mit dem Auto nicht direkt zu erreichen. Gepäck muss ca. 150 Meter von Parkplätzen getragen werden. Ein Vorteil aber auch, kein Autolärm und das Erleben enger Gassen zwischen historischen Häusern. Beim morgentichen Gang zum Bäcker habe ich auf verschiendenen Wegen immer neue Details entdeckt.
Direkt von der Unterkunft bzw. Luceram aus gibt es grandiose Wanderwege. Kondition sollte vorhanden sein. Spannend fanden wir die Natur im Juni. Eine Mischung aus mediteranen und alpinen Pflanzen und Insekten (viele seltene Schmetterlingsarten und Wildbienen). Je höher man kommt bzw. Richtung Norden mehr und mehr alpin, Richtung Süden mehr und mehr mediteran.- Cleanliness

RGW Un havre de paix
Logement très propre et bien équipé. Nous avons passé un moment hors du temps à Luceram, en y découvrant des crèches plus belles les unes que les autres !

Micha Lieu merveilleux base pour explorer la region.
Lieu merveilleux comme base pour explorer la région. Nice est à une demi-heure en voiture ou accessible directement en bus. Il y a de magnifiques sentiers de randonnée dans les environs, et le cyclisme sur route est également fantastique, avec de superbes cols juste devant la porte. Le logement est calme et très propre.
Les indications pour arriver à l’hébergement sont très bonnes mais également nécessaires, car le logement est un peu caché. Depuis le parking, il faut encore marcher un bon bout à travers les ruelles étroites et parfois raides du village pour atteindre le logement. Les cloches de l’église à côté du logement s’entendent bien. Il faut en tenir compte si l’on a des difficultés à marcher. Luveram est un endroit très charmant et l’hébergement offre une excellente opportunité de plonger dans cette atmosphère.- Cleanliness
