15 minutes from the beaches and old port of Pornic, Une Marmotte à la Sea is an Ecogîte-labeled Holiday cottage. It's housed in an 18th-century stone farmhouse on one level (with disabled access), restored using healthy materials and tastefully decorated. The gîte is set in 3500 m² of enclosed grounds, with a private garden planted with flowers (palm trees, olive trees, wisteria, etc.) and a terrace. It comprises a living room with open-plan fitted kitchen, a large bedroom with cathedral ceiling and beams (king-size bed 180x200 + a bed 90x190), shower room, separate WC.
Equipment included: 2 adult bikes, Wifi, freezer, tumble dryer, complete baby equipment, radio, bio ethanol fireplace, DVD player. INCLUDED: Electricity, bed linen (beds made on arrival) and towels. NOT INCLUDED: solar/oil heating (€5/day from October 15 to May 15), tourist tax. Compulsory cleaning fee for business customers (€30). Reflexology sessions available (extra charge - see owners). Nearby organic farms, Lake with beach and water-ski lift 10 min away, Légendia Parc animal park with numerous shows 5 min away.

Welcome to our gîte!
Our passion for renovating old houses full of character and rich in anecdotes led us once again in 2014 to create this gîte on our property in an old building full of character made of local stone.
In this gîte, which we wanted to be above all warm and comfortable, without neglecting a touch of contemporary modernity, we regularly add little extras to the interior and exterior decoration, something that is particularly close to our hearts, always bearing in mind our contribution to the ecological edifice.
After 35 years in the gîtes and chambres d'hôtes business, first in Normandy, then in the Haute Savoie and now in southern Brittany, we're here to confirm our lifelong commitment to welcoming holidaymakers in the spirit of friendliness and simplicity that we value so highly. We've made many friends in the process.
We look forward to welcoming you and helping you discover our favourites, as well as fishing on foot for oysters, clams and mussels, and the many pretty beaches, both large and intimate, surrounded by rocks and so special with their fisheries (wooden huts with a large fishing net).

Florent Pour un séjour reposant
Séjour très reposant et ressourçant dans un gîte très agréable, très bien équipé et avec en plus un bel espace extérieur. L'accueil était très chaleureux. Les propriétaires sont à la fois disponibles et discrets. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte "Marmotte à la montagne" !
