Independent old house, restored in 2016 with noble materials (lime, bricks, natural stone, terracotta floor tiles, local wood) to retain all its authenticity. Le Martin Pêcheur, a certified Fishing Holiday cottage, is located next to the River Don and a public fish pond, in the heart of the Remarkable site of La Forge renowned for its fauna/flora (17 km of marked trails). East-facing terrace accessible from 1st floor + private enclosed garden with trees (300 m²) by the river opposite the Holiday cottage (5 m away). Fishing room (fridge/bin with aerator).
Ground floor: living/dining room (wood-burning stove), fitted kitchen, 1 bedroom (bed 140x190), 1 small glass-enclosed bedroom (bed 90x190), shower room, separate WC.
Upstairs: 1 bedroom (bed 160x200 + bed 90x190) and shower room/wc.
Facilities include: wifi, radio/CD, tumble dryer, full baby equipment.
Included: bed linen (beds made).
Not included: Wood heating/electricity, electricity (meter reading: 8 kWh/day included and more at extra charge) and bathroom linen. Cleaning package mandatory for business customers (65€). Pets: deposit 100€ (Pets on request).

Welcome to the exceptional site of La Forge de Moisdon la Rivière. Nathalie and Manuel welcome you to Le Martin Pêcheur, a typical, comfortable house.
A native of the area, Nathalie will be able to point you in the right direction and explain the history of the site and its surroundings.
Manuel, a keen fisherman and administrator of the local AAPPMA, will be happy to give you information on the best spots. The area has a number of ponds nearby, renowned for their carnivorous fish (black bass, pike and pike-perch) as well as carp and whitefish. He can also give you details of the old construction techniques that he has mastered so well.

séjour en couple agréable dans ce gîte rien ne manque, propre et très calme , merci pour l'accueil chaleureux et son amabilité de Mme VANDERQUAND
seul bémol nous étions venus pour un grand Week end pêche carnassiers et blancs mais non n'avons rien fait même après avoir fait pleins d'étangs dans les alentours et le temps n'était pas avec nous malheureusement.. par contre la ville de Chateaubriant est à visiter…

Effectivement, la météo n'était pas favorable à la pêche sur cette période, pourtant, les plans d'eau du secteur contienne une bonne population piscicole avec des gros sujets pris régulièrement. Merci pour votre visite.

Le gite de Nathalie a correspondu totalement à notre besoin, simplicité, équipements, qualité, situé dans un cadre resplendissant et rénové dans le respect du patrimoine. Cela a été un gite idéal pour notre parcours sur la véloroute "La Régalante".

Fabienne Chère. 21 euros d’électricité en Plus pour une nuit c’est abusé
nous je sommes restés qu’une nuit. A notre arrivée les chauffages étaient réglés à 16 degrés. Nous étions avec un bébé et avons augmenté les chauffages pour ne pas avoir froid . On m’a réclamé 21euros en sus pour l’électricité. C’est vraiment abusé

Effectivement, la location d'une seule journée peut paraitre chère, pour deux ou trois nuits, le prix était le même.
Je vous avait accepté avec une arrivée anticipée sans frais à 10h au lieu de 16h normalement, la température du chauffage n'étant donc pas forcement optimum.
En espérant que vous aillez effectué un séjour, court mais agréable. -
