A former winemaker’s house renovated into a beautiful, contemporary detached home, located in the Nantes Vineyards, 20 km from Nantes, 15 km from Clisson, and less than an hour from the beaches of La Baule/Pornichet and the Vendée. Heated, indoor Piscine (open from mid-May to mid-September—11.5x5m) and a superb private garden of over 6,000 m² with trees, fully enclosed, and not overlooked, plus two terraces (east and west). Private parking on the property. Ground floor: spacious 70 m² living area with living room and open-concept fully equipped kitchen (access via 2 steps), bathroom/toilet (shower + bathtub), 2 bedrooms (1: 180x200 bed, 2: 160x200 bed), and a separate toilet. Air-conditioned upper floor: 2 bedrooms (each with a 140x190 bed), a shower room, and a separate toilet. Amenities included: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speaker, wine cooler, crib/high chair. All inclusive: electricity, electric heating, firewood, sheets (beds made on arrival), towels, and end-of-stay housekeeping. Not included: tourist tax. Parties and bachelor/bachelorette parties are not permitted.

After a career as a professional sportsman, I decided to move to the region. In 2016, I bought this property, which I completely renovated with the help of a master builder and local craftsmen.
La Basse Ville very quickly became my haven of peace and my home away from home, where I often receive my family and friends.
Coming from a family of restaurateurs, shopkeepers and hoteliers, and with my own taste for welcoming and sharing, I quickly decided to become a host and hostess.
We are located in the middle of the Muscadet vineyards. This house has a history and a soul, since the winegrowers of the time made their wines here.
I pay particular attention to the welcome and well-being of my guests, welcoming them in the same way that I like to be received.
I hope you enjoy your stay at "La Basse Ville".

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end dans cette magnifique maison située au cœur du vignoble nantais. Le cadre est très calme et reposant, parfait pour se retrouver entre amis .
La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée et idéale pour 8 personnes. Les chambres sont confortables, les espaces de vie agréables .Mention spéciale pour la piscine qui a été un vrai plus avec le temps exceptionnellement ensoleillé que nous avons eu durant le séjour !
Les extérieurs sont parfaitement entretenus et permettent de profiter pleinement des repas et des moments de détente au soleil. La localisation est également idéale pour découvrir le secteur viticole autour de Nantes.
Nous repartons avec de très bons souvenirs et recommandons cette location sans hésiter !

Edward Nice location, modern and spacious property
Great welcome from Lionel. Nice property in a quiet location surrounded by vineyards. Lots of space. Unlucky with the weather but plenty of places to explore nearby. Mosquitoes were a pain but you get them everywhere in the French countryside!

Nous avons séjourné à La Basse Ville, qui est une villa très confortable et bien équipée. Rien ne manquait pour passer un agréable moment. Le séjour s’est parfaitement déroulé : l’endroit est calme, accueillant et idéal pour se détendre. Nous avons pleinement profité de la piscine pendant la période de fortes chaleurs.
