At the foot of the Aspres mountains, in one of France's most beautiful villages, the Domaine du Moulin de la Canterrane Holiday cottage welcomes you. Nestled in the heart of the Mediterranean garrigue and surrounded by vineyards, this Holiday cottage combines the charm of old stones with modern comforts. Here, calm and unspoilt nature are the watchwords.
A restored 120 m² former mill, the gîte opens onto a private terrace with garden furniture, summer kitchen and barbecue, ideal for outdoor meals. The vast, unenclosed adjoining park invites you to relax, while the lovely communal Piscine offers a welcome refresher on fine days. A pétanque court is also available for convivial moments, and hiking enthusiasts will appreciate the Hiking and mountain bike trails that start directly from the estate. The river on the edge of the property, which sometimes dries up in summer, adds to the bucolic charm of the setting.
There's plenty to discover in the surrounding area: stroll through the medieval streets of Castelnou, explore the famous vineyards of Roussillon, or visit nearby villages rich in heritage, such as Thuir and its Caves Byrrh cellar. Culture lovers can also discover the Albères mountain range, or enjoy the local markets.
Whether you're looking for relaxation by the Piscine (14x4m20, depth: 40cm to 1m90, May 1 to October 30), adventure on the trails or gourmet discoveries, this characterful Holiday cottage offers a unique setting for your vacation in the Pyrénées-Orientales.

Belle demeure dans un environnement bucolique. Loin de tout, vous pouvez destresser et oublier le quotidien à condition de ne pas avoir oublié le pain!

Annemie Rust, comfort en warme gastvrijheid
We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad in dit vakantiehuis! Het huis is idyllisch gelegen, omringd door rust en natuur, maar tegelijk ideaal als uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen. Alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd en voorzien van alle comfort dat je nodig hebt om zorgeloos te genieten.
Wat ons verblijf extra bijzonder maakte, waren de zeer lieve en gastvrije eigenaars. Ze staan altijd klaar met tips en maken dat je je onmiddellijk welkom voelt.
Kortom: een absolute aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een combinatie van rust, comfort en een perfecte ligging voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Wij komen hier zeker graag terug!- Cleanliness

Schiffi Mühle in traumhafter Landschaft
Wir haben eine wunderbare Ferienwoche in der schön renovierten Mühle verbringen dürfen. Die Mühle und ihre Umgebung sind einfach nur traumhaft! Liebhaber von alten, rustikal renovierten Gebäuden kommen vollkommen auf ihre Kosten. Die Natur trägt ihren Anteil dazu bei. In der Umgebung findet man allerlei wilde Kräuter. Das Anwesen selber ist sehr gepflegt. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist die etwas abenteuerliche Anfahrt über zum Teil holprige Feldwege. Dafür geniesst man danach Ruhe und absolute Abgeschiedenheit in der Natur. Wir können die Mühle weiterempfehlen.

La Goutte Reposant
Nous voulions passer un réveillon entre amis loin de toute civilisation et nous avons été servis.
Séjour au top a nous plonger dans les marchés, les caves, et vite nous isoler dans notre refuge pour savourer le calme.
Qu’est ce qu’on aurait aimé pouvoir cuisiner dans le four ancestral de la cuisine…. Mais dommage…. C’est juste pour la deco.
Accueil au top, site au top, il ne manquait que le père Noël et on y était…

Morena Montagnani La maison est magnifique, très bien meublée et confortable.La cuisine est bien équipée.L'emplacement est idéal pour vacances reposantes et paisibles, la piscine a une belle vue sur les montagnes et est entourée de bois avec des sentiers naturels.Endroit très approprié pour ceux comme moi qui ont un chien à promener.Les propriétaires sont très gentils et serviables et vivent à proximité,ce qui permet une excellente communication.
