Our commune of 116 inhabitants and 5700 hectares (1.5 inhabitants per km2!) is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site for Mediterranean agro-pastoralism, which was created in 2011.
Altitudes range from 800 to 1156 metres. Primarily a land of livestock (sheep) and agriculture, the few forest massifs that surround it are home to large herds of deer, and many people come here in autumn to listen to the stag bellow.
