Lou Vachou

In the north of the Lozère department, between Aubrac and Margeride, the Lou Vachou gîte is an old family farmhouse whose foundations rest on huge granite balls.
Renovated with taste, charm and modernity, Lou Vachou is a place of serenity where you can recharge your batteries.
At its foot, you'll find the rocky chaos of Rouchat, between which flows the river "la Rimeize", a tributary of the Truyère, well known to anglers.

Close to all amenities and three kilometers from the Méridienne (A75) linking Clermont Ferrand to Béziers, you have easy access to numerous cultural and leisure sites (Lioran ski resort, Viaduc de Garabit and its many activities, accrobranche in the Margeride, Millau Viaduct, Pierre Soulage museum...).

Thanks to its central location, you can be in the middle of the Margeride surrounded by European Bisons, or surrounded by a pack of wolves in the Aubrac Regional Nature Park, a little further afield amidst tiny creatures at the Cité des d'insectes in Microplis in the Grands Causses Regional Nature Park, or hanging in the trees (Vallon du Villaret) in the Cévennes National Park.
A wide range of sports and leisure activities are also on offer, including hiking and biking, cross-country skiing/snowshoeing (Baraque des Bouviers), Via Ferrata, water sports, canoeing...

The gîte is independent, with an adjoining private outdoor space and direct access to the river.
Garden level: large room with Spa opening onto an outdoor relaxation area, TV, shower room with WC.
Ground floor: large living room with kitchenette and terrace, 1 bedroom with 160/200 bed, 1 separate toilet, 1 shower room.
Upstairs: 2 bedrooms, each with 2 twin beds (90/200), 1 separate WC, a games area on the mezzanine.
All 3 bedrooms have TV.
