In the heart of the Margeride, a fully restored traditional buron awaits you for an unforgettable vacation.
A buron is a stone building found in the middle of high-altitude pastures. It was used to house the cheese-making process and the buronniers. Today, the Buron de Champanouse welcomes holidaymakers who love nature and peace and quiet.
To discover the surrounding countryside, the owners offer 2 electric mountain bikes and 3 classic mountain bikes for hire.

First floor: Open-plan kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge/conservator, freezer), dining area and sitting area. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Separate shower room and toilet.
Upstairs: mezzanine with sofa bed, bedroom with double bed (140cm), bedroom with twin beds (90cm) and sofa bed. Separate WC.
Baby bed and equipment available on request. To be paid on booking: bed linen rental possible: €8/person, household linen: €5/person. Cleaning service available at end of stay: 80€.
Electric heating, pellet stove (6€/bag to be paid on site)
Unenclosed grounds and terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.
Pets allowed (3€/night/pet).
Rates include electricity consumption of 10 kWh/day.

In winter, during snowy periods, access to the Holiday cottage is impossible by car. You'll have to park in the neighboring village and cover the last kilometer on foot or with snowshoes (provided by the owners).
