Located in a quiet hamlet perched at an altitude of 1000m, we invite you to discover our NEW gîte "L'Atelier de Léon" in the heart of the Margeride region, just 20 minutes from the A75 freeway.
Offering a breathtaking view of the Margeride countryside, our charming, comfortable gîte is built on the site of my grandfather Léon's former workshop.
A paradise of silence and Lozère authenticity...
L'Atelier de Léon features a cosy living room where you can gather with family or friends by the fire and enjoy the view.
The fully-equipped kitchen lets you cook regional specialties with the help of a recipe book.
The sleeping area comprises two bedrooms (one with a 160cm bed, the other with a 140cm bed), a bathroom and separate toilet.
To ensure that you have everything you need for a successful vacation, and to keep your luggage as light as possible, we supply cleaning products, shower gel, soap, washing-up liquid, coffee with filters, and all kitchen consumables...
Hiking enthusiasts will find what they're looking for: several trails start from the gîte, with typical views over the Margeride; km of marked trails from the Bouviers cross-country ski resort 10 minutes away.
Lozère, "land of 2,000 springs", is full of superb fishing spots. As a fisherman myself, I'll be happy to advise you on the best spots.
The Parc des Bisons d'Europe (European Bison Park), 15 minutes from the gîte, is a great place for family outings.
Numerous leisure, sporting and discovery activities await you, to the delight of young and old alike.

Verlet Maison de Leon
Gîte très sympa avec belle terrasse et vue dégagée sur la lozere. Dommage que nous ayons perdu une journée en raison des élections !
Endroit parfait pour être en communion avec la nature tout en disposant d’un logement très confortable.
Nous n’avons pas vu le propriétaire mais sa sœur l’a bien relayée.
Le propriétaire nous a dit d’apporter des draps en 140…soit mais il fallait aussi des draps pour un lit en 160 !
On a pas testé le bbq … on ne l’a pas trouvé !
Il y a un fer à repasser mais on a pas vu la table associée.

Je profite de cette réponse pour vous remercier à nouveau pour votre séjour.
Je tiens tout de même à apporter quelques précisions :
Comme pour chaque locataire, vous avez reçu un mail avec tous les éléments fournis ainsi que ceux à prendre dont les draps en 140 ET en 160. De plus cette particularité est bien indiquée dans le descriptif de l'annonce.
Un barbecue tout neuf, comme la majorité des équipements, était à disposition dans le local juste en dessous.
La planche à repasser était soigneusement stockée sous le lit de la première chambre.
Un simple sms de votre part vous aurait permis de profiter de ces prestations. Je reste toujours très disponible pour mes locataires.
Au plaisir de vous accueillir de nouveau dans notre gîte.

Un gîte sans reproche, d’une grande propreté.
Tout est pensé avec beaucoup de goût !
Propriétaire très à l’écoute.
Seul bémol, pour un prochain séjour, nous commanderons une météo plus clémente !!!!!
