In the typical village of Le Bacon, a set of three adjoining gîtes to rent independently or together for a stay with family or friends!
Situated in Haute Lozère on the border with the Cantal département, the location is ideal for discovering the landscapes of the Margeride, the vastness of Aubrac and the Monts du Cantal massif.
You'll also benefit from the proximity of the small shopping town of Saint Chély d'Apcher and the A75 freeway, which puts Le Bacon 1.5 hours from Clermont Ferrand and 2 hours from Montpellier.
In the village, you'll find a small church with a combed bell tower, and, bearing witness to a bygone way of life, a bread oven and a granite ferradou (used to shoe oxen).
And you'll appreciate the surrounding hiking trails, which offer magnificent panoramas that change with the seasons.
The gîte comprises, on the first floor, the living room with its fireplace (wood not supplied), sofa and TV, and integrated kitchenette (washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer).
1st floor: bedroom with double bed, shower room and separate toilet.
2nd floor: bedroom with two single beds.
Courtyard and terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, parking and children's play area.
Pets allowed free of charge.

Bazoune Beaux paysages
Le gîte est face a un paysage magnifique, nous n avons pas profité de l extérieur, nous avons eu une semaine très froide. La pièce principale est un peu petite, à l étroit avec le canapé et la table. Mais la cheminée fonctionne très bien. La chambre est agréable .
Par contre le chauffage était défectueux à notre arrivée,
Les responsables ont mis tout en œuvre pour que nous ayons plus chaud, mais nous avons eu très froid en arrivant jusqu au mardi.
Nous reviendrons sans doute quand il fera plus chaud et dans le gîte plus grand.
Sinon tout est propre, salle de bain fonctionnelle.- Cleanliness

Bon séjour aucun accueil et l’emplacement très compliqué à trouver très mal indiqué, intérieur de l’appartement aucun produit entretien même pas un petit présent à notre arrivée

Désolée de ne noter que passablement ce gîte.
Points positifs:
- Appareils de cuisine excellents
- Vaisselle très propre mais un peu juste au niveau quantité
- Lit 2 places confortable mais trop bas pour personne âgée.
Points négatifs:
- Escaliers dangereux pour les tt petits et peu pratiques pour les personnes âgées
- salle de douche MINUSCULE !!! (Il aurait été pourtant si simple de l'élargir sur le placard de la chambre amplement suffisante pour y installer une armoire, voire même 2)
- salle principale très petite entièrement occupée par une table ronde trop grande (une table rectangulaire pliante aurait pu y trouver sa place parfaitement)
- réception télé LAMENTABLE !!! (Le gîte étant pour vu du Wi-Fi, il serait pourtant simple d'installer une box à moindre frais)
- pas de réseau téléphonique, mais cela ne dépend pas du loueur.
- ce gîte manque d'un peu de décoration, du coup, il est très impersonnel. Cela aiderait pourtant bien à atténuer grandement les points négatifs.Néanmoins, notre séjour à été agréable dans la mesure où nous étions là pour visiter le département et ses environs.
Emanuelle est super sympa, hélas nous n'avons pu la rencontrer physiquement, mais super agréable et compréhensive au téléphone.- Cleanliness
