In the rural Lozère village of Les Laubies (48700), in the heart of nature, on the Margeride plateau at an altitude of 1000 meters, this former 17th century farmhouse has been completely renovated to provide you with all the comforts you would expect. The authenticity of the buildings has been preserved, with new lauze roofs, thick lime-grouted stone walls, old exposed beams and, of course, the magnificent granite inglenook fireplace, typical of the Margeride region.
The house is located at the entrance to the village, with no direct neighbors or vis-à-vis. The well-exposed terrace allows you to relax in front of the house, enjoying the unobstructed view over the pastures and forests nearby.
The former cowsheds and barns provide sheltered parking for bikes, motorcycles, quads... or storage space for your Hiking gear (backpacks, hiking boots, snowshoes...).
On the ground floor, a very large living room groups together the open-plan kitchen, living room and dining room for greater conviviality.
Exposed stone walls joined with lime, old beams on the ceiling, a granite flagstone floor in the living room, a pellet stove and a large fireplace all add to the soul of this typical old Margeride house.
There are also sanitary facilities with WC and washbasin, and an adjoining room used as a storeroom and laundry room.
On the 1st floor: 3 lovely, comfortable bedrooms, all tastefully decorated, with 140x190 cm beds.
2 of these rooms have their own bathroom with toilet.

2nd floor: the former attic has been completely refurbished into 2 bedrooms, each with a 140x190cm bed, a dormitory with 3 90cm beds and a large shower room with WC. This floor is very luminous with its 5 velux windows. Exposed beams and wooden floors.
