Here, you'll discover our 50-hectare vineyard and woodland estate, and follow part of the St Jacques de Compostelle pilgrimage route. Just a few kilometers from the village of Montréal, overlooking the Audoise plain and the UNESCO World Heritage Canal du Midi, which you can walk or cycle along. From the Holiday cottage, you can explore the cultural and gastronomic riches of the Aude department (the village of Fanjeaux, the Cathar castles of Saissac and Lastours, the book village of Montolieu and the Abbeys of Saint-Papoul and Saint-Hilaire). Just a few kilometers away, you'll find yourself at the famous Mirepoix Market in Ariège, or under the ramparts of the Cité de Carcassonne, 25 minutes away. On request, the owners will be happy to advise you on the best places to taste local wines.
On site, you'll enjoy the owners' shared garden and park, as well as the boulodrome for a game of pétanque, with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees. From May 1st to October 30th, you can take a refreshing dip in the owners' Piscine (6x12 m, depth 1.20 to 2.50 m), open from mid-May to the end of September depending on the weather, with its sun loungers and pool house with shower and WC. A gaming room with table tennis, table soccer, etc. is also available.
The Holiday cottage comprises on the ground floor:
_a fully-equipped kitchen, opening onto the living area with TV and pellet stove.
private terrace with garden furniture and plancha.
separate WC.
laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
_2 bedrooms with 2 x 160cm beds, each with its own shower room.
First floor:
_one bedroom with 2 single beds (twin beds on request).
a bedroom with 1 x 160cm bed and en-suite shower room with toilet.

Séjour très agréable dans un cadre idyllique.
Des propriétaires très accueillants et très agréables.La maison est impeccable et l’emplacement idéal quand on veut visiter la région sans faire trop de route (visites de multiples curiosités à 30’ max de voiture)

FamilleLagrange De très belles vacances
Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans un cadre très très agréable qui se prête à merveille aux souvenirs de vacances en famille.
Nous nous sommes régalés à découvrir le domaine ( labyrinthe, promenade, potager, piscine...) . Le cadre est exceptionnel et l on sent l' amour des hôtes pour leur propriété. Le gîte est neuf, décoré avec soin et très bien équipé.
Nous remercions Josy et Jean pour leur accueil chaleureux, leurs conseils sur les bonnes adresses et activités des alentours.

Audrey Très belle villa dans un magnifique domaine
Nous avons été très bien accueillis avec tout le nécessaire pour nos enfants en bas âge. La villa est très pratique, très bien décorée et très agréable ! Les hôtes étaient vraiment super (disponibles, réactifs, très sympathiques) ! Nous pouvons nous promener librement dans ce magnifique domaine très bien entretenu comme tous les équipements mis à disposition (très belle piscine sécurisée, zones de jeux, cabane dans les arbres, multiples endroits pour prendre l’apéro ou se reposer, etc.). Nous recommandons vivement ! Merci pour ce beau séjour !

Stefan S. Everything has been just perfect!
We have stayed for one week with two families at this beautiful place. Jean and Josy have been perfect hosts. The kids loved the garden with the labyrinth, the tree house and the pool. They had very much space to play inside and outside. The location is perfect for total relaxation. We immediately loved this place and are looking forward to stay there again. C’est la deuxième année que nous venons passer quelques jours à Stricou. Un lieu tellement calme et ressourçant, des promenades, des barbecues, du repos, et des propriétaires tellement accueillant et chaleureux; nous reviendrons sans hésiter !
