In the heart of the Haute Vallée de l'Aude, in Couiza, this traditional Languedoc village house opens its doors to you. Renovated to perfection, it combines the charm of the past with modern comforts. Exposed stonework, generous volumes and natural light create an authentic, soothing setting, ideal for vacations with family or friends.
Nestled between mountains and vineyards, Couiza is the perfect base from which to discover the treasures of the Cathar region: the mysterious ruins of Rennes-le-Château, the imposing castles of Peyrepertuse and Quéribus, the medieval city of Carcassonne, or the spectacular scenery of the Pic de Bugarach.
Nature and adventure enthusiasts can enjoy hiking and mountain biking, swimming in the Aude river, water sports and wine discoveries in the surrounding vineyards.
The Holiday cottage offers:
_A living room with lounge area, fully-equipped kitchen and dining area opening onto the rear terrace overlooking the wooded park.

_Two suites, each with a 140cm bed, and a shower with vanity unit,

Peace Marvellous Stay
All facilities we needed. We easily cooked a meal for 6 one night. The house is decorated to a very high standard. The patio outside looks onto the park. A good cafe restaurant just along the road. Comfortable for 6 people. Welcome food pack much appreciated. Delightful owner. Marvellous base from which to explore the surrounding country and nice to be in the village, although could not find a bakery to walk to for the morning baguette. Nearby excellent Sunday morning Market at Esperaza. Short drive to a very good bio-coop and next door, an intermarché. A rail on the upper part of the stairs to 1st floor and top stairs would benefit the older people in the group, but they managed fine with assistance. Easy parking on the street opposite for our people carrier. Central heating appreciated for the colder days although not needed much. Many thanks for a marvellous home on holiday.

Gîte impeccable,confortable avec grand garage. Apprécions la fourniture des produits ménagers,de toilette et le panier d accueil.La douche dans chaque chambre est très appréciable pour le confort de chacun. Terrasse et barbecue permettent des moments conviviaux.

BIBI CALME ET CONFORT
Nous avons été accueilli comme jamais. La maison est très agréable, spacieuse, propre avec un couchage confortable. Il ne manque rien...absolument rien. Henri a été très disponible et à pris grand soin de nous. Encore merci
