Close to the village of Lagrasse and Fontfroide Abbey, starting point for visits to the castles of the Cathar region. The Sea is 30 km away, and the Sigean African reserve is 25 minutes away. Nearby, you can taste the wines of the Corbières Cru. From the Holiday cottage, there are many footpaths through the Fontfroide massif to the ponds (on foot or by bike), where you can discover the garrigue and superb views. In the Hameau, around 500m away, you can visit the clause honey factory.
The air-conditioned Holiday cottage is set in 2,200 m² of fully enclosed, private grounds, where you can find the space that suits you best: a shady spot under the trees, a sunny spot by the Piscine or a relaxing spot on the large terrace with pergola, garden furniture and plancha. Private swimming pool (6 x 3.50 m, 1.40 m deep, unheated).
Entirely on one level, the Holiday cottage is built around a patio and comprises:
_ A large, fully-equipped living room/kitchen opening onto the terrace,
_ A bedroom with 1 x 160cm bed and dressing room,
_ A bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm),
_ A bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower,
_ A separate toilet,
_ A storeroom with freezer.
Vehicle parking on the property and possibility of sheltering a car on a porch.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Myriam la propriétaire son petit cadeau d'arrivée nous a fait très plaisir. La maison est idéalement située entre Narbonne et Carcassonne. Le gîte est décoré avec goût,très bien équipé et confortable, il ne manque rien, vous êtes comme à la maison. le jardin est grand et magnifique, bien aménagé, bien entretenu. L' intimidé est totale pour profiter de la terrasse avec la pergola et la piscine. Nous reviendrons !

Ein Paradies für Ferien mit Hund
Wir wurden von Myriam sehr herzlich empfangen. Sie hat uns das Haus und dessen Einrichtungen sehr gut erklärt. Anschliessend die eine oder andere Möglichkeit zum Erkunden der Gegend aufgezeigt. So Ferien zu beginnen ist ein Traum.
Das Haus ist sehr komfortabel und ideal eingerichtet. Speziell zu erwähnen der grosse Kühlschrank, den zusätzlichen Gefrierer, die Wasch- und Abwaschmaschinen. Was will man mehr.
Das Gelände ist gut gepfelgt, eingezäunt, und so dass unser Hund als Jäger innerhalb des Grundstücks blieb.
Viele Bäume und Sträucher spenden genug Schattenplätze und schützen zudem den Privatbereich.
Wir hatten ziemlich warme Tage für den Monat Juni und waren daher sehr glücklich uns jeweils im Pool abzukühlen. Wie im Titel erwähnt – wie im Paradies.
Zum Einkaufen fuhren wir jeweils nach Lézignan (Carrefour). Das bietet mehr als genug.
Diese Ferien bleiben für uns unvergessen. Es kann gut sein, dass wir mal wieder in diese Gegend kommen und da wird sicher das «Les Sarments de l'Aussou» als erste Möglichkeit zur Auwahl kommen.
Wir haben Myriam als ersten Punkt erwähnt und entsprechend gebührt ihr auch der Schlusssatz.
So eine Vermieterin ist einmalig. Hilfsbereit, diskret, geduldig und immer gut drauf und freundlich.
Die Kommunikation war für sie sicher nicht immer einfach – wir sprechen und verstehen sehr wenig französisch und haben via Uebersetzer auf dem Handy von Myriam kommuniziert. Das war lustig, hat aber sicher etwas länger gedauert. Auch da Myriam – beste Note für Deine Geduld.- Cleanliness

Die gîte „Les Sarments de l´Aussou“ ist ein gepflegtes Objekt mit großzügigem Garten, einer überdachten Terrasse und einer sonnigen Sitzecke direkt am Haus. Der kleine Swimmingpool bietet Erfrischung für Leib und Seele an heißen Tagen.
Die Unterkunft weist einen wohl durchdachten Grundriss mit praktischer Möblierung und kompletter Küchenausstattung auf.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind am Ort nicht vorhanden. Mit dem Fahrzeug sind diese aber problemlos zu erreichen.
Myriam, die liebenswerte Vermieterin, verdient besondere Erwähnung. Sie bereitete uns einen herzlichen Empfang und stand uns auch während unseres Aufenthaltes mit zahlreichen Tipps und Kartenmaterial zur Verfügung.
Das Département Aude bietet jede Menge lohnende Ausflugsziele wie Carcassonne, Narbonne oder das alte Städtchen Gruissan mit seinen Gassen, Häfen und den nahegelegenen Salinen.
Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und werden gerne einmal wieder in Myriams gîte zurückkehren.

L'accueil du propriétaire a été très chaleureux. La maison est située sur un terrain spacieux avec beaucoup d'intimité. Le jardin est magnifiquement aménagé. Nous avons apprécié la piscine. Vous ne manquerez de rien pour passer de belles vacances. Si vous avez besoin de conseils, vous pouvez toujours contacter les propriétaires. Nous recommandons fortement l'emplacement.
