Welcome to a character-filled gîte, carefully converted into a typical Lauragais farmhouse dating from the 18th and early 19th centuries. This family home, owned by the same family since 1708, offers you an authentic experience in the heart of the OCCITANIE-Pyrénées-Méditerranée region.



**Gîte description:**



- **Location** : Only 3 km from Castelnaudary and the famous Canal du Midi.

- Outdoor space** : Enjoy a vast enclosed garden, ideal for relaxing in the heart of nature.

- Inside** :

- On the first floor, a spacious living room-kitchen opens onto a west-facing terrace, equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers, parasol and barbecue. The living room features a 2-seater sofa bed.

- A bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet is also located on the first floor.

- Upstairs, you'll find a large bedroom with two 90 cm beds, which can be converted into a 180 cm bed, and an adjoining toilet. A small mezzanine bedroom is equipped with a 90 cm single bed.

- Bed linen, towels and cleaning products are provided.

- Welcome basket with local produce according to season.

- Housework on request for a carefree stay.

- Carport and parking in front of the gîte.

**Ecology and heating** :



The gîte is powered by photovoltaic panels. In winter, a pellet stove provides pleasant warmth. Consumption varies from ½ to 1 15 kg bag of pellets per day, with an additional cost of €6 per bag for the 2024/2025 season.

The owner, who is passionate about local history, will be delighted to advise you on the region's best restaurants, short circuits and unmissable visits. A full range of tourist and historical documentation is available in the gîte to enhance your stay.
