Montgaillard is a charming village in the Aude department, which will win you over with its authenticity and natural setting. Nestled in the heart of Cathar country, it offers exceptional panoramic views of the Corbières. Nearby, discover Cathar castles such as Peyrepertuse and Quéribus, perched on the ridges. Hiking enthusiasts will love the marked trails through garrigue, vineyards and Forest.
The wine region offers tastings of Corbières and Minervois, powerful, sunny wines. Montgaillard is also a Mecca for Occitan gastronomy: cassoulet, artisanal charcuterie and goat's cheese. The local Markets are bursting with local produce.
A few kilometers away, Limoux invites you to savour its famous Blanquette. The nearby Gorges de Galamus offer an impressive natural spectacle, with their sheer cliffs and hermitage nestling in the rock.

2nd floor: 1 bedroom (3 single beds). 2 bicycles available.

Une location de vacance exceptionnelle. Une maison d'un grand confort avec absolument tout se dont on a besoin. Vous n'avez rien à amener avec vous, tout est fourni. Un soin particulier a été apporté au confort, à la décoration ce qui fait que l'on se sent vite comme chez soi. Les chambres sont spacieuses, beaucoup de rangement, les lits sont très confortables. La terrasse privative est bien agréable avec sa vue sur la campagne. Coup de cœur pour les propriétaires qui nous ont fait partager leurs valeurs humanistes : empathie, respect, solidarité...

Les Charentais Sublime
Gite magnifique dans une superbe région. Les propriétaires sont tres accueillant. Le gîte est parfait, il y a absolument tout le confort et la literie est excellente. Un calme et une vue splendide. Encore merci aux propriétaires.

Bettie Super séjour dans un coin calme!
Super séjour dans un gîte où on se sent comme à la maison! Les environs sont magnifiques, Michel et Sylvie sont adorables et nous ont accueillis chaleureusement avec des produits de leur production (Merci encore!). Michel a pris le temps de nous expliquer son métier de vigneron dans l’Aude et nous a conseillé sur les sites a Cathares a ne pas manquer! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Montgaillard!
