With the Cité Médiévale just a 15-minute drive from the Holiday cottage, you can explore the cultural and gastronomic riches of the département (the Cathar castles of Saissac and Lastours, the book village of Montolieu or the Abbeys of Saint-Papoul and Saint-Hilaire). On site, you'll enjoy a completely private environment, a covered terrace, a terrace in front of the door with a private heated swimming pool (9 x 3.50 m, 1.50 m deep, salt-treated, secured by an immersed roller shutter). Swimming possible from mid-May to late autumn. Illuminated petanque court, sun loungers, garden furniture, barbecue/plancha area.
The Holiday cottage comprises, on the ground floor:
_Living room-Kitchen with large central island, opening onto terraces and Piscine.
Separate WC.
Second floor:
_2 bedrooms (1 x 160cm bed, 2 x 90cm beds) each with en-suite shower room, separate WC on landing.
In an outbuilding, a master suite with a 160cm bed, separated from the bathroom by a workshop-style partition, with double washbasin, shower, island bath and separate WC.
Second floor:
_2 bedrooms (1 x 160cm bed, 2 x 90cm beds) each with en-suite shower room, separate WC on landing.
Equipped with reversible air conditioning, for comfort in summer and winter.
Baby equipment and games.
All-inclusive, bed linen and towels provided, end-of-stay cleaning (daily or other cleaning services available on request during your stay, extra charge).
The Holiday cottage has been awarded the Accueil Vélo® label and has a secure garage. Bicycles can be rented from nearby professionals.
A private 7.3 KW recharging point is available on site, in addition to the rental price.
The Holiday cottage also sleeps 6: le petit mas de l'écluse.
The Vineyard owners offer a Vineyard et Découvertes® workshop with wine tasting.
Wellbeing massage, home chef on request.

afin de faire découvrir notre si beau territoire du Pays
Carcassonnais, à tous ceux qui pousseront la porte du Mas de
l'Ecluse.

Thank you so much to the owners for such a fantastically renovated family farm house. It was very well equipped (the EV charger was a great bonus) and supremely comfortable, we particularly enjoyed playing pétanque and swimming in the pool.
We had a very warm welcome and also enjoyed a wine tasting hosted in the annexe by the owners and learnt a lot about both their vineyards and the wine from the local area.
We would definitely recommend others to stay here if they are looking to explore Carcassonne and the wider Cathar region.

Emilie Superbe gîte
Superbe gîte aux prestations haut de gamme. Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour. Très bien aménagé, dans un environnement somptueux, d une propreté irréprochable et d une très belle décoration, tout est fait et pensé pour que l on passe un séjour parfait en famille ou entre amis. Enfin l accueil exceptionnel des hôtes, leur gentillesse, conseils et disponibilité à rendu ce séjour mémorable. Un grand merci à Marie-Noelle et Xavier qui ont été adorables et nous ont transmis un peu de leur passion et l histoire familiale de ce mas.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce gîte ! Tout était parfait : la propreté irréprochable, la literie très confortable et les équipements de grande qualité, tout ce qu’il faut pour se sentir comme à la maison. Kimmo Wonderful stay
We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful house in France. Everything was exactly as described – modern, clean, and very well equipped. The house was both stylish and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday.
The hosts, a lovely couple, were exceptionally kind and welcoming. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and their hospitality added something very special to our stay.

Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment magnifique dans cette belle maison en France. Tout correspondait parfaitement à la description – moderne, propre et très bien équipée. La maison était à la fois élégante et confortable, avec tout ce qu’il fallait pour des vacances reposantes.
Les hôtes, un couple charmant, ont été d’une grande gentillesse et très accueillants. Dès notre arrivée, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous, et leur hospitalité a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable.

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse en famille dans cette superbe maison au cœur des vignes près de Carcassonne. Tout est parfaitement pensé et équipé pour accueillir plusieurs familles : piscine, barbecue, terrain de pétanque, jeux pour petits et grands… Un véritable havre de paix ! Les hôtes sont charmants, disponibles et très accueillants. Nous recommandons sans hésitation et reviendrons avec plaisir !
