Le Mas de l'écluse

The Mas de l'Ecluse is ideally situated on the banks of the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a jewel of the region. Surrounded by vineyards and nature, you'll be able to enjoy beautiful walks or bike rides all the way to the gates of Carcassonne, along Riquet's masterpiece!

With the Cité Médiévale just a 15-minute drive from the Holiday cottage, you can explore the cultural and gastronomic riches of the département (the Cathar castles of Saissac and Lastours, the book village of Montolieu or the Abbeys of Saint-Papoul and Saint-Hilaire). On site, you'll enjoy a completely private environment, a covered terrace, a terrace in front of the door with a private heated swimming pool (9 x 3.50 m, 1.50 m deep, salt-treated, secured by an immersed roller shutter). Swimming possible from mid-May to late autumn. Illuminated petanque court, sun loungers, garden furniture, barbecue/plancha area.

The Holiday cottage comprises, on the ground floor:

Second floor:
_2 bedrooms (1 x 160cm bed, 2 x 90cm beds) each with en-suite shower room, separate WC on landing.
In an outbuilding, a master suite with a 160cm bed, separated from the bathroom by a workshop-style partition, with double washbasin, shower, island bath and separate WC.

Equipped with reversible air conditioning, for comfort in summer and winter.

All-inclusive, bed linen and towels provided, end-of-stay cleaning (daily or other cleaning services available on request during your stay, extra charge).
The Holiday cottage has been awarded the Accueil Vélo® label and has a secure garage. Bicycles can be rented from nearby professionals.
A private 7.3 KW recharging point is available on site, in addition to the rental price.
The Holiday cottage also sleeps 6: le petit mas de l'écluse.

The Vineyard owners offer a Vineyard et Découvertes® workshop with wine tasting.
