Located in Pouzols-Minervois, La Métairie Basse is set in a quintessentially Mediterranean landscape, nestled among sun-drenched hills, pine forests, and renowned Vineyards. Here, you’ll enjoy an authentic immersion in the Minervois, a region full of character known for its wines and its way of life. Just a few kilometers away, the medieval town of Minerve captivates visitors with its spectacular gorges and its heritage, recognized as one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France.”
As you continue your exploration, Narbonne reveals its rich Roman past, its bustling market halls, and the banks of the Canal de la Robine, while Carcassonne and Béziers are must-see destinations for day trips. Outdoor enthusiasts will also appreciate the many hiking trails and mountain bike routes available nearby.
The guesthouse, which is separate but close to the owners’ home, offers a rustic and welcoming atmosphere inspired by local traditions. On the ground floor, you’ll find inviting common areas that combine the dining room and social spaces, all in an authentic, countryside-style setting. A first bedroom is also located on the ground floor for added comfort and accessibility. Upstairs, two additional bedrooms complete the suite, including a family suite consisting of two separate, connecting rooms. Each room has its own private bathroom with a shower and toilet, ensuring your privacy and peace of mind.

Outside, you can fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings thanks to the private garden and furnished terrace, perfect for relaxing. The shared outdoor Piscine (fenced for safety, open from June through the end of September until 9:00 PM) is located on the edge of the olive grove and offers a pleasant setting to cool off on sunny days. Parking is available on the property in a secure, private indoor parking area.

Among the highlights, the table d’hôtes is a real draw: by reservation, you can enjoy a convivial meal featuring local specialties made with regional ingredients (€22 per person).
