Located in Pouzols-Minervois, in the Aude department, La Métairie Basse is fully integrated into the authentic landscapes of the Minervois, between pine forests, olive groves and sun-drenched hills. This region, renowned for its art of living and its wines, offers many possibilities for discovery. Just a few minutes away, the town of Minerve, listed as one of France's Most Beautiful Villages, impresses with its spectacular natural setting and medieval heritage. Further south, Narbonne offers a Roman heritage, lively Halles and the Canal de la Robine, while the Cité de Carcassonne and Béziers are ideal for day trips. Nature lovers will also appreciate the Hiking and mountain-biking trails accessible from the village. The independent, traditional-style guest house features convivial spaces designed with guests' comfort in mind. On the first floor, you'll find communal rooms with a warm, Countryside feel, including a cosy dining room and areas for socializing. The first bedroom is on the ground floor, offering easy access and comfort. Upstairs, two further bedrooms (including a family room with 2 separate communicating sections) complete the accommodation. Outside, you'll find a private garden and a pleasant terrace to make the most of fine weather. A shared outdoor swimming pool (open from June 1 to September 30 and until 9 p.m.), set on the edge of the olive grove, invites you to relax. Private, secure parking is also available on the estate, and the table d'hôte dinner is a real highlight of your stay: book in advance for a convivial meal of regional specialities (€22 per person), prepared with local produce, for a gourmet immersion in Minervois culture.
