Gite de Font de Roque

Gite located in a natural setting between vineyards and garrigues, at the foot of the Alaric massif on the edge of the Corbières mountains, 2km from the village of Capendu and 20 minutes from Carcassonne.

Font de Roque is a quiet estate and the Holiday cottage is attached to a small dwelling. It has a terrace with garden furniture and an electric plancha, and offers beautiful views over the Audois countryside. The site is criss-crossed by footpaths leading to lakes (with fishing possibilities) and the ruins of the Château de Miramont, and two adult bicycles are available for rides around the village or along the banks of the Canal du Midi, 6km away. Horses can be accommodated in stalls or meadows, rates on request. Shops and restaurants in the village. The Sea and the Cathar castles are 45 minutes away.
The Holiday cottage has 3 levels: on the ground floor, living room with TV area, opening onto the terrace, fully-equipped kitchen with breakfast table. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms, one with a 160cm bed and the other with a 140cm bed and 2 80cm beds on the mezzanine. Bathroom with walk-in shower and separate WC. Central heating, linen and towels included, housekeeping optional. Parking available in front of the Holiday cottage.
