Maison St Romain

Located in northern Gironde, in the heart of the town of Blaye, close to its Unesco World Heritage Citadel, Maison Saint-Romain welcomes you for your stay with family or friends. Its location is ideal for discovering the area's many attractions: the Blaye Citadel, the Gironde estuary along the Corniche road, the medieval village of Bourg, the Pair-Non-Pair cave, Terres d'oiseaux and its bird sanctuary, etc. You'll appreciate the proximity of all amenities, including shops and restaurants.
Our gîte is housed in a large bourgeois-style house renovated in 2020; you'll appreciate its preserved authentic character, with its vast entrance and original tiled floor, high molded ceilings and rooms as bright as they are spacious. The house is designed to comfortably accommodate 8 to 10 guests, and comprises a large entrance hall, a fully-equipped kitchen opening onto the patio, a dining room, a TV lounge with fireplace (wood provided) and a toilet on the first floor. Upstairs are four bedrooms, each with a 160x200 bed (sofa bed 160X200, in one of the bedrooms) and a shower room with private wc, one of which has direct access to the balcony overlooking the patio. A laundry room with washing machine, dryer and cleaning equipment is accessible from the patio (not communicating with the house). An intimate patio with barbecue and garden furniture is located at the rear of the house. Parking is easy on the street next to the gîte, next to the church of Saint Romain. Gas central heating included, bed linen (made up on arrival), towels and kitchen linen provided. One pet only.
