Ideally located in the heart of Blaye City, Maison Saint-Romain welcomes you for a convivial stay with family or friends, just a stone's throw from Vauban's famous Citadelle, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its privileged Location will enable you to discover the region's must-see treasures: the Gironde estuary and the Corniche road, the charming medieval village of Bourg, the prehistoric Pair-Non-Pair cave in Prignac and Marcamps, the Terres d'Oiseaux bird sanctuary, as well as the Médoc and Bordeaux vineyards. Set in an elegant bourgeois house completely renovated in 2020, our gîte charmingly combines authenticity and modern comfort. You'll be seduced by its spaciousness, luminosity, high molded ceilings, vast entrance hall and preserved original floor tiles.
Designed to comfortably accommodate 8 to 10 people, the first floor features a large entrance hall, a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the patio, a convivial dining room, a TV lounge with fireplace (wood provided) and a separate toilet. Upstairs, four spacious bedrooms each with a 160x200 double bed, a private shower room and toilet. One of the bedrooms is also equipped with a 160x200 sofa bed, and one has direct access to the balcony overlooking the patio. Outside, you'll appreciate the intimate patio with garden furniture and barbecue, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. A separate laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and cleaning equipment is also at your disposal. Parking is easy and free in the street, right next to the gîte, near Saint-Romain church. For your comfort, gas central heating is included, beds are made on arrival, bathroom and kitchen linen are provided and end-of-stay cleaning is included. Pets allowed.
