Le Logis de Vallans is a large wooded park in a quiet village in the Marais Poitevin, and a 19th-century dwelling that has retained all its character, with 2 bedrooms on the garden floor ("Les Pictons" 1 bed 140, 1 bed 90), (bedroom "La Pibale" 1 bed 90, 1 bed 160), and 3 bedrooms upstairs (suite Salicorne 1 bed 180, sleeping area for Kids with 1 bed 90 and 2 Bunk beds 90),("L'Angélique" 1 bed 160), (bedroom "La Pigouille" 2 beds 140). All have private bathroom and toilet. Breakfast offers a choice of sweet and savoury products, mostly organic and local. A small kitchen is available for those who want to prepare a snack. Take advantage of the garden, Piscine, ping-pong table, barbecue, bike and rowing boat hire to discover the Venise Verte. The possibilities for walks and excursions are many and varied: Hiking and cycling from the Logis, discovering the Marais Poitevin, its history and unique green landscapes, its typical villages, its flora and fauna, the small navigable canals of the Venise Verte (boat trips 12km away), the Forest de Chizé (10km) and its Zoodyssée, Niort (15km - pedestrianized city center, sports and cultural activities, museums, concerts), the loops of the Sèvre and its fortresses, the maritime cities (45min-La Rochelle, Rochefort), the beaches and coastline or the Futuroscope 50 min away, the Puy du Fou is 1h30 away. Anchored in the region for generations, we will be happy to advise you if you wish. The house is non-smoking.
