Set in the heart of the Countryside, this self-catering holiday cottage is the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy the fresh air. Ideal for a stay with family or friends. Located on a farm, it offers peace and quiet, enclosed grounds and all the comforts you need to enjoy nature to the full. Just 100 meters from the house, a private 1 hectare pond is dedicated to Fishing. Carp, gudgeon, tench, trout and pike can all be found in this unspoilt lake. A Fishing room with sink and storage facilities is also at your disposal. The Holiday cottage is only 10 km from Crocq, with its shops and services, as well as the Terra Aventura course (CROCQ), for a different way of discovering the region. An ideal place to combine relaxation, nature and outdoor activities in Creuse. Nearby, you can enjoy the Lacore garden in Saint-Pardoux-d'Arnet, perfect for relaxing and strolling. All in a natural environment ideal for outdoor activities.

    Séjour pêche

    Propriétaire très accueillant. Maison rustique mais fonctionnelle. Étang juste à coté. Nous étions venus en famille chercher le calme et les poissons et nous les avons eu.

    clients deçus

    Gite trés ancien resté dans son jus et trés mal entretenu .A notre arrivée des crottes de chien ( laissé part le locataire précédent)non ramassées.ne vous fier pas a la photo de la maison la vigne vierge morte depuis de nombreuses années
    A l interieur(trés sombre)propreté,hygiene douteux,vaisselle viellote et a relaver,couvertures,dessus de lit veilles et poussiereuses
    Plancher étage trés bruyant(ne pas se lever la nuit vous reveillé tout le monde)
    Tout est vétuste et manque d entretien.Etang(ou sont les poissons)
    Point positif bon accueil du propriétaire.QUE FONT LES GITES DE FRANCE???

    En effet il est possible qu'il y ait quelques crottes de chiens dans la pelouse car non nous ne les ramassons pas... et étant donné que l'on accepte les chiens par souci de confort pour nos locataires et par gentillesse... d'ailleurs vous êtes venus avec 2 chiens!!! Pour les photos qui ne sont pas représentatives, il est évident qu'en venant à l'automne les espaces seront moins fleuris et moins agréables qu'en été, cela s'appelle le repos végétatif, pour des personnes de la campagne cela paraît évident ... Le ménage à été fait, la vaisselle (et le reste) a été lavée, la literie changée mais quand on veut être de mauvaise foi pour ne pas régler le fioul... on trouve toutes les anomalies possibles!!! Pour le bruit, Il est évident qu'en louant une maison de campagne pittoresque à ce prix là et bien oui il y aura des planchers qui craquent et des bruits en périodes de vent, ce n'est pas un appartement. Concernant les poissons c'est bien la première fois qu'on nous fait cette remarque, surtout que l'étang est régulièrement approvisionné par un pisciculture (factures visibles si besoin) et en renouvellement naturel... après il n'est pas prévu de donner des cours de pêche aux débutants! 32 ans que l'on reçoit des vacanciers avec toujours un très bel accueil du propriétaire, heureusement ce n'est pas le seul point positif.

    Calme, verdure et nature

    Agréable séjour dans une belle maison creusoise, dans un coin tranquille, pas de bruit, uniquement le glouglou de la fontaine !
    Bonne literie, gîte avec tout le nécessaire.
    Accueil très sympathique du propriétaire, et un très bon roulé à la confiture à notre arrivée .
    Idéal pour la pêche avec les étangs à deux pas, les promenades à pied, la contemplation et le repos.
    Jolis villages à découvrir à proximité, La Cité de la Tapisserie à Aubusson.
    Vacances en Creuse, vacances heureuses !

    Beautiful house in a beautifull area

    This beautiful, traditional en-pierre house is build in the traditional way. It's spacious with 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs, providing beds for 8. Inside it stayed nicely cool, while it was 33 degrees C outside.
    The house is located at the end of a road where three other houses and a few granges are dotted in the sloping landscape, surrounded by trees which give plenty of shade and privacy.
    The enclosed garden runs around the building. During the day you always find a place to sit in the sun. If you prefer the shade, there is a large tree in the middle of the garden where you can sit or lay yourself on a deckchair all day.
    Inside the house you'll find old character furniture which give you the feeling you wend back in time. A more comfortable couch should be on the wish list though.
    Luckily there are modernities too. There is a flat screen TV and internet, although slow. It's ok for emailing and searching information. But forget streaming movies or watching YT with three people on-line. More time left to spend together. There is nothing wrong with disconnecting from the worlds madness for a week.
    There is a washing machine and the kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, microwave, a big fridge and other modern things you might expect nowadays. We missed a set of sharp kitchen knives and a wooden cutting board. I'm sure the owner will sort that out.
    And the landscape. What to say about that. Words can't describe it. There are fishing ponds next to the property, where you are allowed to fish, if you ask the owner who has the fishing rights. One pond in particular is stunning in the morning sun. I strongly recommend to walk around it slowly and watch the abundance of plants, shrubs and trees on this little peace of earth.
    The Creuse isn't famous for it's tourist attractions. Instead the whole arrondissement is the attraction.
    You should find it out yourself and this Gîte is the perfect place as a base.
    We strongly recommend it.
