With its exceptional location in front of the slipway to Barneville's long beach, this late 19th-century villa is a charming address on the west coast of the Cotentin peninsula. In addition to enjoying the sound of the waves every hour of the day, this tastefully decorated home offers real living comfort. Its spaciousness, walled garden and balcony overlooking Jersey are a delight. Just cross the street to enjoy the beach, or curl up in the bow window lounge. In any case, the cottage's gentle, peaceful atmosphere ensures a real iodine interlude! Restaurant in the immediate vicinity. Embark for the Channel Islands from the port of Carteret. A second 4-person gîte is just behind. Opaque filters are fitted to the windows to block views (kitchen and dining room).

- eine Einrichtung mit viel Liebe zum Detail,behaglich und gemütlich.,
- die Heizung wärmt sehr gut, ebenso der Wintergarten bei Sonne,
- die Rollläden zum Verdunkeln etc
- durch die Strandlage hört man sehr schön das Meer, herrlich morgens beim
Aufstehen und abends beim Einschlafen

5/5Le gîte est très agréable : très propre, tres chaleureux, très bien équipé. L emplacement est idéal pour des ballades sur la plage mais aussi tous les environs. Notre séjour restera un très bon souvenir. A conseiller sans hésitation !!

A great base for Barneville Carteret
5/5We have had many gite holidays and this is the best gite yet. Warm, cosy, comfortable, tastefully furnished, super bedding, brilliantly equipped and a sea view! What more could you want? The hosts' welcome and the cider and cakes were much appreciated too. Our holiday was out of the normal tourist season and we had all weathers during our stay but we were happy to be indoors as much as we appreciated the lovely beaches even if they were covered in snow. We have no reservations in recommending this beautiful gite, we will be back....
