Gite fitted out in an annex to the owners' house. Access on foot through the common garden. Parking in the public ground or free public car park at 200m. Private terrace for the gite with garden furniture and deckchairs. The cottage is laid out on one level with a living room (kitchen with dishwasher and multifunction oven, dining room and lounge area with sofa and TV), a hallway with a toilet and washing machine, a bedroom (double bed 160x200cm, TV) and bathroom accessible from the bedroom. Wifi internet connection, connected TV. Baby equipment available on request: bed, chair, bath, changing table, etc. Common children's games. Bicycle shelter. Spa in an enclosed space adjoining the gîte available only in winter (Available from 11/18/2023 to 02/08/2024) with an additional cost €50 per use. Stay at the gates of Bayeux in this comfortable gite. It is ideal for two with its cozy living room and high-end bedding. You will appreciate the services included: heating, sheets, towels and toiletries. The well-oriented terrace with its deckchairs welcomes you when you return from your walks. Bayeux town center is 5 minutes by car, 20 minutes on foot. The city known for its tapestry is also very dynamic with shops, restaurants, museums, cinema, aquatic center, etc. The historic center of Bayeux includes cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, numerous mansions and a superb cathedral. The city is also an excellent starting point for visiting the landing sites and beaches.

Séjour parfait
5/5Séjour parfait !! Le logement est très propre avec pleins de petites attentions. Le jacuzzi qui est à notre disposition est de qualité, nous en avons bien profité. La propriétaire est très réactive et nous a donné pleins d’adresses sympathiques pour visiter et se restaurer. Bref un séjour parfait

A great home base! / Superbe base d'exploration!
5/5This little gite was a perfect home base from which to explore Normandy. Quiet, well-situated, and offering lots of independence, Aux Portes du Temps was clean, warm, cosy, and cute. All amenities were spot-on, and it was a superbly comfortable place to return to after a long day of wandering the nearby countryside and beaches. A very warm welcome from the owners, who were the perfect hosts. Will definitely return when next in the area!
Ce petit gite était la parfaite base d’opérations pour une longue semaine d'exploration de la Normandie. Calme, bien situe, et offrant beaucoup d’indépendance, Aux Portes du Temps était bien entretenu, propre, chaleureux, cosy, et charmant. Tous les aménagements étaient parfaits, et c’était un endroit superbement confortable ou retourner après une longue journée de balade a la campagne proche ou aux plages. Un accueil des propriétaires qui était bien chaleureux, et ceux-ci étaient les meilleurs hôtes. Nous retournerons pour notre prochaine escapade normande!
