The city known for its tapestry is also very dynamic with shops, restaurants, museums, cinema, aquatic center, etc. The historic center of Bayeux includes cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, numerous mansions and a superb cathedral. The city is also an excellent starting point for visiting the landing sites and beaches.
