The City, famous for its tapestry, is also very dynamic, with shops, restaurants, Museums, Cinema, aquatic center, etc. Bayeux's historic center features cobblestone streets, half-timbered houses, numerous hôtels particuliers and a superb cathedral. The City is also an excellent base for visiting the D-Day sites and beaches.
