In Bayeux's Historical district, 500 meters from the famous Tapestry, discover this incredible architect-designed house whose facade is reminiscent of a ship's rail. Comfortable, spacious and well-equipped, the Holiday cottage is located on a vast, peaceful property. The view over the private woodland in the heart of Bayeux City is unique. You'll appreciate being within walking distance of all the shops, Museums and restaurants. It's also centrally located for visiting the beaches and D-Day sites.
This architect-designed house is accessed by 10 steps on one side and a gentle slope and 2 steps on the other. It is located on the property where the owners live with their family and 2 dogs. All on one level, the Holiday cottage comprises a living room with open kitchen, 1 bedroom for 2 (2 beds 90cm), 1 bedroom for 2 (1 bed 180cm) with table and armchairs, a shower room, 1 separate WC. Piscine (swimming corridor) with direct access from the Holiday cottage, shared with the owners (available all year round, heated to 24°C and enclosed, 20m x 3.5m, 1.30m deep). Balcony terrace opening onto the Holiday cottage's private garden. The garden is on the edge of a private wood. The river Aure flows through the woodland below, but the banks are undeveloped and unsecured. Garden furniture, deckchairs, parasol, barbecue. Non-smoking Holiday cottage.

Fede Excellent gîte et accueil ultra attentionné
Le gîte offre tous les conforts possibles, il est très bien équipé et entretenu et bénéficie d’une position très centrale pour visiter Bayeux, tout en restant facilement accessible en voiture aussi. Philippe et sa famille sont des hôtes super attentionnés, sympathiques et chaleureux qui font tout le possible pour mettre les locataires à leur aise. Nous ne manquerons pas d’y revenir et recommandons ce gîte sans hésitation, merci encore !

The accomodation itself is brilliant; it's well planned out, of high quality and well equipped too. It's a perfect base for walking into the centre of Bayeux or driving around Normandy.

Nico33 superbe gite au coeur de Bayeux
Un super séjour chez Philippe et Sylvie, une famille accueillante avec qui nous avons pu prendre un apéritif des plus agréables !! Le gite est magnifique avec une literie parfaite, de la vaisselle et des ustensiles haut de gamme. Tout est neuf et d'une propreté irréprochable ! On avait l'impression d'être les 1er à venir.
La piscine est grande et accessible directement depuis une porte dans la salle de bain. Très agréable de faire quelques longueurs le soir (c'est plus une piscine pour nager que pour barboter avec des enfants car l'eau est assez froide). Le gite est calme et on est au coeur de Bayeux donc on peut faire les musées à pied. De plus, Bayeux est super bien placée pour aller visiter les sites alentours ! Merci Philippe pour ton accueil ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir ! N'hésitez pas à venir nous voir si vous venez vers Bordeaux !- Cleanliness
