A comfortable single-storey gîte 5 minutes from Arromanches

Situated just a few minutes from Arromanches, the Amsterdam gîte (named after a Royal Navy hospital ship) is the ideal base for a duo stay in the heart of the D-Day beaches and sites. By following the tourist route or cycling along the vélo-maritime, you can reach Grandcamp-Maisy via the villages and sites that are a must for remembrance tourism (Omaha Beach, the American cemetery at Colleville sur mer, the Pointe du Hoc). For gourmets, Le Bessin is also a gastronomic destination: seafood, cheese and cream, cider and apple juice, and the famous Isigny sur mer ice creams and caramels.

The Holiday cottage is adjoined by another cottage (ref 3425, sleeps 2), located near the owners' home (former farmhouse). On one level, it comprises a 25 m² living room with kitchen area, dining area and sleeping area (1 x 160cm bed), a shower room and separate toilet.
