The Gîte de la Vallée Saint Martin is located within the grounds of an old farmhouse which was rebuilt after the 1st World War, almost 1 century ago and renovated since. This gîte benefits from a large leisure area out of sight with a view of the fields and the woods. You can enjoy the magnificent sunset comfortably seated on the terrace. The most natural: hens, herbs and a few tomatoes in summer........ Walks in the valley of the sum (Eclusier-vaux, Cappy...). In the village on the Circuit du Souvenir, near the Haute Somme valley, detached Holiday cottage (170 m²) built after the Great War. First floor: living/dining room with fitted kitchen (fridge/freezer, Senséo electric and pod coffee maker), 2 sitting rooms, WC, 1 bedroom (1 bed 160x200), bathroom (shower and bath), WC. Upstairs:1 bedroom (1 bed 160x200), 2 bedrooms (with 1 bed 140x190), 1 bedroom (2 beds 90x190), shower room with WC. Oil heating (extra charge). Table soccer and darts in garage. Large front courtyard, 40 m2 terrace with pergola and 1500 m2 rear garden with swing for Kids. Garage for 2 cars. Closed bicycle shed. Pets not allowed. Electricity recharging point 8 km away.

    Fantastic place to stay

    We were a Canadian family of 8 who stayed one week at this lovely well-maintained, well-equipped farm house.The living quarters were comfortable and spacious. The large grounds were impeccable and provided an excellent place to be outdoors for eating and playing. The owner, Mde Darras, was exceptionally gracious and helpful. Added enjoyment for the children were the chickens.

    Excellent lication

    Gite was spacious and comfortable. Location for exploring the sites of the Somme was excellent. Bottle of wine left as welcome. Kitchen well-equipped. Garden lovely.
    Large kitchen table and outdoor table so we could all sit together.

    Maison de charme !

    Nous avons passé 9 jours dans cette super maison de charme avec toute la famille (10 personnes). La maison était propre et il y avait tout ce qu'il faut. Le feu est très agréable dans les soirs. Le jardin est très beau et des oeufs frais de la poulaillère est un plus ! La maison est bien situé pour visiter le circuit de souvenir mais aussi pour visiter la haute Somme avec ses belvédères magnifiques.
