The Gîte de la Vallée Saint Martin is located within the grounds of an old farmhouse which was rebuilt after the 1st World War, almost 1 century ago and renovated since. This gîte benefits from a large leisure area out of sight with a view of the fields and the woods. You can enjoy the magnificent sunset comfortably seated on the terrace. The most natural: hens, herbs and a few tomatoes in summer........ Walks in the valley of the sum (Eclusier-vaux, Cappy...). In the village on the Circuit du Souvenir, near the Haute Somme valley, detached Holiday cottage (170 m²) built after the Great War. First floor: living/dining room with fitted kitchen (fridge/freezer, Senséo electric and pod coffee maker), 2 sitting rooms, WC, 1 bedroom (1 bed 160x200), bathroom (shower and bath), WC. Upstairs:1 bedroom (1 bed 160x200), 2 bedrooms (with 1 bed 140x190), 1 bedroom (2 beds 90x190), shower room with WC. Oil heating (extra charge). Table soccer and darts in garage. Large front courtyard, 40 m2 terrace with pergola and 1500 m2 rear garden with swing for Kids. Garage for 2 cars. Closed bicycle shed. Pets not allowed. Electricity recharging point 8 km away.

Our second stay as a group of 4 motorcyclists at this lovely house. Friendly welcome from the owner to a clean and well presented house. Generous living space available for larger groups and with the added bonus for ourselves of secure garage parking. Great location for local WW1 sites along with good connections if exploring further afield.

Paul et Donat De magnifiques vacances !!
Nous avons fort apprécié ces vacances d'une semaine dans cette magnifique maison spacieuse et calme. L'accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes nous a permis de nous sentir de suite très bien dans cette belle maison. Le très beau et vaste jardin fleuri agrémentait nos repas que nous pouvions prendre sur la terrasse, près de la cuisine, super équipée.
Nous avons aussi apprécié le grand garage attenant à la maison, pour y mettre nos vélos électriques en sécurité.
La situation de ce gîte nous convenait particulièrement : proximité de la Somme, pour y faire des ballades en vélo et proximité de lieux de souvenirs de la guerre 14-18 avec ses musées. Et même la visite du superbe musée Louvre-Lens sur notre chemin du retour.Encore MERCI de ces super vacances, dans une Picardie pleine de richesses.- Cleanliness

D. Leedham Lovely old farmhouse
A large Lovely old comfortable French farmhouse in lovely countryside. We are a large family and we were greeted with a friendly welcome by the lovely lady/family who owns the property. The location is perfect for those who wish to visit the historic locations of the Somme as the house is surrounded by and is within easy reach of dedicated memorials, trails and British/Commonwealth cemeteries from the 1st world war. I would definitely recommend, thanks again for a lovely stay.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette grande maison confortable avec un jardin des plus accueillants (nombreux transats),
Il ne manque rien. Tout à été prévu par la propriétaire pour notre confort.

Champo Séjour family
Très bon séjour en famille. La maison est spacieuse , lumineuse, tout le nécessaire est present pour passer de belles vacances en famille.
Un joli jardin pour profitez des belles journées ensoleillées. Le gîte est en pleine nature au calme. Que du bonheur. Un accueil sympathique par la propriétaire.
