The Gîte de la Vallée Saint Martin is located within the grounds of an old farmhouse which was rebuilt after the 1st World War, almost 1 century ago and renovated since. This gîte benefits from a large leisure area out of sight with a view of the fields and the woods. You can enjoy the magnificent sunset comfortably seated on the terrace. The most natural: hens, herbs and a few tomatoes in summer........ Walks in the valley of the sum (Eclusier-vaux, Cappy...). In the village on the Circuit du Souvenir, near the Haute Somme valley, detached Holiday cottage (170 m²) built after the Great War. First floor: living/dining room with fitted kitchen (fridge/freezer, Senséo electric and pod coffee maker), 2 sitting rooms, WC, 1 bedroom (1 bed 160x200), bathroom (shower and bath), WC. Upstairs:1 bedroom (1 bed 160x200), 2 bedrooms (with 1 bed 140x190), 1 bedroom (2 beds 90x190), shower room with WC. Oil heating (extra charge). Table soccer and darts in garage. Large front courtyard, 40 m2 terrace with pergola and 1500 m2 rear garden with swing for Kids. Garage for 2 cars. Closed bicycle shed. Pets not allowed. Electricity recharging point 8 km away.

A really nice welcome from the owner who then left the 4 of us to enjoy this lovely gite. Well worth considering if you're visiting the Somme. The gite has everything needed, is very spacious with a nice outdoor seating area if the weather is kind. The owner checked on our leaving date without being over picky. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

SLamb très bon séjour
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille à Carnoy Mametz. Avec nos 5 enfants, nous avons été ravis de l’accueil chaleureux et des beaux échanges avec les propriétaires, découverte de leur métier. La maison est très jolie, parfaitement fonctionnelle et vraiment idéale pour une famille nombreuse. Le grand jardin a fait le bonheur de nos enfants pour jouer et courir, sans oublier les poules et les moments partagés avec les petits-enfants des propriétaires. La région offre également de nombreuses découvertes, visites et de superbes paysages. Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de notre séjour et recommandons vivement ce gîte !

Notre séjour en famille s'est très bien déroulé. Mon épouse et moi, nos enfants et petits enfants ont été très agréablement surpris par le gite : il est très spacieux, très bien agencé, très bien équipé, avec un petit parc très joli que nous avons pu admirer pendant nos repas en plein-air, sur la terrasse. Notre petite fille a pu jouer à la balançoire et "s'occuper" des poules. La petite ville d'Albert toute proche, mérite à être connue.
Notre hôte nous a accueilli simplement et avec gentillesse.
Cerise sur le gâteau, mon épouse a reçu un très joli bouquet de fleurs pour son anniversaire.
