City in the country, country in the city! You may not believe it, but this 4-person gîte is on the outskirts of Maubeuge, a town fortified by Vauban, which also hosts a number of cultural festivals throughout the year! If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be!
For thrill-seekers, try parachute jumping from the Salmagne aerodrome; for the little ones, don't miss a visit to the giraffe at the zoo!
Eurovéloroute 3 La Scandibérique. We're 20km from Mons (Belgium), 32km from the Val Joly tourist resort, 37km from Valenciennes, and one hour from Lille (86km).
The gîte is exclusively reserved for the tenants, and is only accessible to outsiders with the owner's prior agreement. Parties are not permitted.

Isolated in the countryside, near Maubeuge (8mn from town center), 75 m² gîte in the outbuildings of a farmhouse.

First floor: living area/equipped kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine, gas stove and oven), stone fireplace and pellet stove (pellets provided by owner), 140x200cm sofa bed, connected TV, Netflix, YouTube free of charge, TNT. Free WIFI.

Upstairs, accessed by a spiral staircase, a bedroom with a 160x200cm bed and an open bathroom (balneotherapy bath and washbasin). A second bedroom with two 90x200 beds and an 80x120 shower with washbasin. Separate WC upstairs.

Shared enclosed garden not overlooked, with private terrace and garden furniture. Private parking.

Bed linen and end-of-stay cleaning included in the price. Electricity included up to 15kw/h per day, any excess charged at EDF rate.
