Formerly owned by the family of the famous painter Jules Bastien-LEPAGE, this building housed a convent until the 1970s. All that remains of this period is a cell used as a children's bedroom and a beautiful solid wood staircase. The communal gîte on the 1st floor is a spacious, bright and quiet apartment. Just outside the gîte, you'll find the old ramparts path, and the nearby footpaths will take you on a tour of Damvillers, to its ponds, or on the circuit in the footsteps of J. Bastien Lepage.

Didierm201 bien situé pour les visites commémoratives
gite très bien situe ,très calme avec un village charmant avec un huit a huit très bien achalander plus boucherie et ses cigognes au village . Un très bon accueil a notre arrivée avec beaucoup d explication des cites a visités au alentours et très réactif je recommande ce gite .

Jean-Marie Séjour dans la quiétude, entouré de verdure.
Gîte très confortable et surtout, un accueil très chaleureux. Très bien situé pour rayonner dans la région qui offre de jolis points de vue sur la Meuse.

Pascal Très bon séjour dans ce gîte communal bien décoré
Maison confortable et très calme et très bien équipée. Idéale pour des familles avec enfants qui souhaitent des vacances au calme et visiter des sites touristiques relatifs à la guerre de Verdun. Ces sites sont très instructifs et émouvants.
